Baltimore area TII party

I am helping my father convert his 1988 Convertible to a T-II turbo (1987 TII engine).

we will gladly supply food and beverages (cold beer for those over 21) to anyone around the Baltimore area that has experience with the NA to TII conversion that could make it out to the Carroll County (near Reisterstown) area next weekend on Saturday, January 7th around 11 a.m. or so to give us a hand.

So far the swap has been going real smoothly, the only problem is we have hit some confusion with the TII harness and NA connectors. I have read that we need to modify the harness slightly for the coolant temp sensor to work correctly, and to keep the MILs off from the alternator.
The new engine is in and mounted and tightened down and we have new oil cooler lines bolted up and have almost everything back on except for the radiator.
We are hoping that we can at least get the car started by next weekend and we can worry about fine tuning everything later.
If anyone is interested in helping either send me a PM or e-mail me at robboser@gmail.com with questions or for directions

TIA

I'll be there, so there are at least three enthusiastic car people attending - two of whom even knows things, just not the RX7 wiring. And knowing the TII wiring is would be a big help, since it's a 1987 T-II engine, sensors, and drivetrain that now happens to be in a 1988 convertible body.

The harness is from the 87 TII too. There's just a few connectors we're not absolutely sure about, and the NA is a little different than the T-II as well. Regardless, it would be nice to have someone who's been through this, or has more of a knowledge of the RX7/TII than we do.

The date and/or time is flexible, and it's in a semi-heated garage, so get your reservations in now!

I'll even throw in some Christmas cookies, if there are any left over by then ;-)

Any takers?
