What the crap is this nonsense anyways? Like it was said above, there's always a faster car. 10 second 1/4 is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Second of all, who gives a rat's *** about going in a straight line in an FD? Put your money where your mouth is and take your stock suspension car to a real track, you know the kind with "turns" in it and then see how a stock suspension FD compares.

 

already talked to turbotommy about setting up a race..this kids not a cop trust me ..hes 17 and just got his car running last week hes said he will be ready to go by the first week of spring. hes just a ******** and thinks no rotary can beat him. if you prefer racing on the track let me know because he will be there running the 10.000 when atco starts its season off. he needs to get his *** kicked just once lol..and yea ill video the whole thing and post it up on here for the guys that dont make it.

 

He's probably one of those kids that doesn't think four bangers can be quick also. :roll: He needs to open up and realize there is more to the world than V8's. I'm I fan of V8's and anything that is quick and well built.

Being the DSMer that I am, it's pretty easy to find examples of 2.0l 4-bangers that will eat his 10 sec 1/4 mile for dinner and **** it back out. How about 7.70 @ 191 in streetable trim?

his car is actually at his uncles shop at j&e performance right behind jpr being put back togeather right now..tom told me that when he gets the car up and running that he wants to get a race goin. ive never seen toms car run but ive heard that its really quick so it should be a really good race. atco would probably be the best way..its only right down the steet from us so why not bring it to the track.

J and E is a real shop, 2 minutes from JPR. This has POTENTIAL to be a good one. J and E does some big muscle stuff.....and oh yea Tommy is always up for it...

 

yea..the fastest ive ever seen his uncle joes car run is a 6.86 at 220mph in a 1/4. he knows his stuff when it comes to building these cars. ill get him to post some pics of the car within the next few days.

the car was running last year with the same setup and engine so he has a good idea of what it can run. he raced over the past summer in the 12.00 index with a 63 nova so he has a little experience. i just want to see him get his *** kicked so he has the same respect for these cars as we do.

 

Now I know this kid is full of ****. There is no chance he's driven his car on the track. NHRA minimum age is 18 years old, unless you have a waiver signed by BOTH parents... And if he DOES have a waiver, there is a record of it, and there will be results online somewhere... what's this ******'s name?
