The Cause of Death
Hey what's up buddy.
I'm in Delhi NY right now for school.
Not this weekend (29-1) but next weekend I'm trying to set up something for Skyview Dragway with a bunch of my buddy's from school, and hopefully some rotorheads from this board might attend.
If you can make it great, I'll meet you in Oneonta or something with my buddy's, if not, there will be more meets

good too see there are some rotorheads locally............
theres a thread about a rotary meet on june 10-11 would be a good opportunity for everyone to meet up i think so lets make some plans to meet up for that
drjay you should be able to make that no problem and i know where queensbury is and good to see an fd locally(i work for home depot, so if thers a depot in your town most likely i know where it is lol)
spotskater i dont know where that raceway is but basically the next two weeks i cant do too much.......finishing up my degree and i graduate on may 13th after that id be down for anything.........plus i need to get my car registered so i can actually take it with me hehe....its a running project but running and passing an inspection are two different things....the car still has the or i should say what is left of the factory exhaust.....racing beat setup should be here on monday and then any spare time is spent doing that...
crickifur just let us know when you get back be safe over there....an extra hand for projects is always a good thing....ill be nonstop working on my car over the next few months

yea there is a home depot in my town. Its right next to lake george. You wont see too many fds around here, or barely any rotors. But I will definately be here for that rotor meet. Jay

The Cause of Death
I'm gonna be graduating May 20, A bunch of buddies and I are probably going to be heading up to skyview around that time. After that I hope to never visit upstate NY again
The exhaust replacement is pretty straight forward. The most pain in the *** part is going to be ripping the heat shield off the stock manifold. Make sure you soak the bolts on the manifold in some PBlaster before you hack at em. Might also want to bust out a torch and get em good and hot. You don't want those studs to break lol...

I live in a little town called Corinth just North of Saratoga Springs. I work in Glens Falls so I'm really close to drJay2022. I'm up for most anything, but I tend to travel a good bit with my job so it will always be hit and miss with me. I have an 04 RX-8, 94 FD, and 84 GSL-SE, so I tend to keep busy turning wrenches when I am home.
I look forward to the June 10th meeting in Lake George!!

Anex 570, I just got back from an RX-8 road trip to Williamsport, PA (business). Went right past Sayre. It is a pretty easy drive, but Route 88 is pretty rough in places and route 220 seems to be full of trucks. You live in a pretty nice area with some good driving roads.
Jay, I've been driving rotary cars around Glens Falls for the last 18 years. I drive my FD on most nice days between May and November (no salt please). My typical route is over West mt. to exit 18 (rt 87) then into town to Pruyn's Island where I have worked for the last 15 years. Though I am known to frequent the softball fields in Jenkinsville and Derby Park.
I have seen one other red FD around a couple of times in the past few years (could have been you), but I never had the opportunity to stop or stop you. I'm running 348 rwhp (dynojet) and 302 tq through the stock engine and turbos. I like to spend weekends wrenching on something or other and did 90 of the work on my FD myself. Unfortunately I rarely have time to work on my "project" (the GSL-SE).
I know there are more rotary guys in Glens Falls area, but I don't know any of them personally.

Dude theres so many good roads around here its not funny. I can drive for hours and then come right back home within 5-10 miles. Theres good roads here and there, and LOTS of hills! Let me know what you guys want to do. Oh yea, Williamsport gets frigging even hillier. If your in the area again, let me know and we'll meet for sure! I'll show you my GSL-SE aswell.

I'm going to school in Troy and I live like an hour and a half west of Albany... I drive a black S5 N/A with a turbo hood(came with the car...) in case you see one around albany/ troy... If anyone wants to autox there is going to be one on May 21st at adirondack community college(Queensbury, NY.. exit 19 off the northway) with the mo-hud scca region... I'll probably be there and it would be nice to see more rotories there racing.
