Since the last Dyno event in December I know a few guys here wanted to be on the Dyno and get tuned again. I live walking distance from this place so I went over there and spoke to the guy. I was able to get March 30th so hopefully the weather is a bit nicer then. So far everything is set for a min of 5 cars. If we get more he might be able to cut a better deal. The dyno is a Dynojet and it's in the ground.. no more going up ramps.. were allowed to drive our own cars. If you want to go just state whether or not you want pulls or a tune. I'm setting a cap for 15-20 dyno cars pending on what gets done. All cars are welcome. Pm me if theres any questions.

That means that the first post was still somewhere around the top. So you would think that someone would have noticed a meet scheduled already that day.

This goes deeper than what everyone on the NE forums sees. Lets just say we had a falling out with another club who is affiliated with a much, much larger club. Since we formed VMRC it seems that every move we make this said club counters it. I don’t know if the N.Y. Dyno Day is another attempt to counter our meet, but I can only go by the pattern that I observed since we formed our club. If this is just a coincidence than I appoligize, but I can only wonder why would anyone post a meet that is in the general area, on the same day, that another club has already publicly posted.

well lets see. you have a dyno day way out in CT. then someone from central/south jersey posts about a meet just across the jersey border in NY and then someone posts about a general, not rotary specific, dyno/tuning day in out in long island. and theres a tuning session on saturday the 29th in jersey. maybe its all just coincidence...

OK I started the meet in the Palisades for the 30th and I have no idea who you are 2wankel....I have no beef with you nor do I want any so I dont understand what is going on....I have friends all across the area and I cant help it if they want to come to the meet I am planning.....I did not try to besmirch any of your people if that is what you are inferring

I know that everyone can't possibly keep track of other clubs dates and I realize that sometimes meets will happen at the same time. It's just a pattern that I've been seeing lately and its not just me other people have mentioned it to me, that is all.

chrism1, I just answered the mans question and I also stated that if it was a coincidence than I appologize. So this beef thing I dont know where you got it from. I dont have beef with anyone, maybe people have beef with me for some unknown reason. Anybody that has met me knows that I'm a cool down to earth person.

I followed the link and read everything and from what I read the 21st there was no mention of it being official. You guys were talking about it. Just like we were talking about it with Elm City Imports and other various clubs way before the 21st. So to quote you, "you are incorrect my man."...

I don't get it, aren't we all supposed to have unity. This club , that club I personally don't give a **** as long as I could get together with a bunch of rotrorheads and have a great time.That's what it's all about, not a club competition.

 

Well after what happened with the last club, lets say we dont trust them or their affiliation.

What can I say actions speak louder than words and it was already proven by their actions.

I'm also glad that you mention its not a club competition and I agree with you. We are an old school Mazda club 1985 and under. Yet we feel that their is competition for some unknown reason. It's not like we are tracking down members from 86 and up. We do let anyone hang out with us, but our members are only 1985 and under.

 

My friend you claimed that you had your date for the 30th already set in stone on the 21st. I don't see any proof that you did. You can update your 21st thread all you want.

First off crism1 one, like I mentioned before. I was answering ALL INs question. You decided to post something directed at me. You felt you had to defend yourself. So you started the debate. You posted how you felt and I posted how I felt. Also whats this attitude you are talking about? I think I've been very respectful in stating my point of view. Are you saying I dont have the right to post my point of view.

I would rather have a half a dozen members who are real honest down to earth people. Than 100 shady people in our club.

I didn't ask you to support our club and now that you stated you won't that is fine with me. That is your opinion and I respect that. I realize that some people don't fit into certain clubs. Thats just how it is, you can't make everyone happy.

yo ken i dunno whats going on with you but i thought you were more level headed then this. Just because someone in NY that is NOT affiliated with NYRA is holding a dyno day you jump to the conclusion that we are planning something against your club in CT?

I dont see the need for you to even post this up, your THREAD JACKING this guys post and you need to apologize for that, if you want to bash NYRA, NJRA, or CTRA then get some ******* ballz and make your own dedicated post stop starting ****.

This is all a big coicidence and you need to stop feeling like anyone is trying to attack you. John already told you we have no issues with your club or anyone in it, but if you incist on sparking beef to get promotion then that’s on you.

Now i will re-iterate, this dyno day was put together by a member of the rotary community for people in LI, NY and the tristate area, if its on the same date as yours what do you want the kid to do, stop his? NO

Also chrism is predominantly on the 8 forum and has been working on this meet way before yours did, so regardless of the date it was set mainly by the 8 members and then as a courtesy gesture he posted on 7club to get all of the rotary guys in one place who want to hang out. In no way shape or form did he attack you or plan to **** block your meet, so STOP THIS BULLSHIT!

If you want to be a man about it then come correct with the stuff, assumptions can get you into a lot of trouble.

So no one is after your meet in CT. Plus its a free country, there can be as many meets on the same day, it all depends on which one you want to attend. Goodluck.
