2011 Dulles Town Center - Chick-fil-A
#101
I showed up a few weeks ago for the first time and met Andy and his 7 and a few other people. I was quite amazed at the spectacle of cars and enthusiasts. It's a bit wet out so it looks to be off tonight but hopefully I can make it out next week to meet more 7's....and their owners of course.

Good to hear from you Mike. Glad you're back in one piece!
Was out of town last weekend but this Friday is looking awesome. I plan to be there, and I might even bring the FD!

No go for me tonight. Gotta tackle the "honey do" list before my daughter's bday party this weekend.
****, she's got me working more here at home than I did in Afghanistan...

Dang, thinking about throwing it on the trailer and coming over tonight. It's my last Friday before moving to Carlisle and I'd like to show atleast once before leaving the area. Just sorry I'll miss Mike. Anyways, more later today.
BTW, what's the latest I could show-up and still be able to get a good trailer parking spot?

I agree. Even though there will likely be a good turnout today, there is always enough space to park a tow vehicle within sight. If you aren't planning to take it off the trailer I'd show up earlier. But, if you are going to pull it off and roll it into line with the rest of us, I'd show more like 6:30 so there are other helping hands around. Can't wait to see the beast
I wonder if other mike (RXtacy) will come by to show off his new paint too

I'm in with my trailer trash...
OK, loading it on the trailer and hope to be there by 6:00 (assuming 267 isn't totally ludicrous). Guess I'll be the designated non-operational rotary.... every meet has to have one!!

This oppressive heat gonna keep everyone indoors this evening? I'd go tonight if others were going, but it wouldn't be until around 7pm. Might be a bit cooler by then.

I don't know Vlad, seems at 6pm yesterday it was still hot as *****. Not to mention standing out in an asphalt parking lot with no shade. Nor does my car have AC, so I'd be showing up already drenched in sweat. Which I know you like.
I'm gonna wait til later in the day to make my decision.

Yeah....this heat is no place for FDs, or people for that matter. It's hard to breathe out there. My car died on Wednesday too. The clutch switch took a crap....had to get it towed back. It was not fun trying to diagnose that in work clothes either...luckily it wasn't as hot, but it was still pretty oppressive Wednesday.
Stay cool!
