1986 base for sale, fresh rebuild LOOK
1986 Mazda Rx-7 FC3S/ $3000 open to offers
The chassis has just over 80k on it. The engine is a fresh rebuild with just slightly over 3k on it. I also have a few parts uninstalled that were meant to turbo-charge the vehicle. Here is some more in depth info:
Engine:
1991 13-b fully rebuilt by T&R Racing ( www.rx7s.com )
Brand new housings, new bearings, new factory spec apex seals, all soft seals
The rebuild is well documented and I can provide receipts at request. The rebuild alone cost over $3000.
The engine was broken in gently as prescribed by all rotary builders and had perfect compression at the end of its 2k break in, 110 psi on both rotors with strong even pulses.
Intake/exhaust:
The stock air box has been replaced with a K&N style cone filter and the stock exhaust ahs been completely removed and replaced with 2.5” straight pipes, a pre-silencer and Option Import’s Apexi N1 style dual mufflers.
Interior:
The car has the stock burgundy interior in decent shape. It also has a set of hideaway rear seats. 2 small interior pieces are missing and(mirror triangle and idiot surround) There is a radio/minidisk player installed and a dvd/mp3 player included but not installed.
Exterior:
The exterior is in average shape, it is dark grey in color with slight fading on the roof and hood. The body has never been in an accident and has no major damage, only a small dent on the rear driver’s side quarter panel and your average pebble dents here and there. There is no real body rust, anywhere on this car. It was thoroughly inspected when received as a shell. The front bumper was swapped with a s5 front bumper and also fog lights. The s5 rear bumper is included but not installed.
Suspension:
KYB GR-2 shocks and Eibach Pro-kit .8” lowering springs
Extras:
I had a lot of plans for this car and acquired a lot of parts for it. For the right offer I will include these parts listed below along with the car:
1)Mazda Rx7 s4 Hitachi Turbocharger, rebuilt, polished, with ported internal wastegate.
2)S5(89-91) high flowing VDI manifolds.
3) Holley water injection kit: used to suppress detonation and run high levels of boost on turbo charged engines. This kit alone is close to $300.
4) I have a gxl model wrap around spoiler already painted to match the car, just needs to be installed.
5) I also have a s5 rear bumper, dvd player and radio surround kit mentioned above that will all be included free with the car.
The car is in perfect running shape as is and would be perfect for a project, im selling because im buying another 7 and cant afford to insure both.
