^ Yes it is! It's amazing what can be done when you fab your own stuff. I'm really curious to see where the power band will fall with the longish split runners.

me too. the SAE papers says that the length will peak under 7k, but the diameter will help it over 7k, so its possible it'll have a really fat (120% ve) power curve in the 4500-7500 range.

it should still do 300hp@9000, but it'll be around 280hp @7000rpm vs 340hp@9k and 240hp@7k for the shorter MFR lengths.

so imo its a good compromise, it should make it faster in the real world

Is that the SAE paper that's in one of the other thread's with intake length's/size you got your info from ?? I must have another look at it.

If i can sort water leak and get motor running and run in i will organise a dyno run just to see what it does, I already no the exhaust will hold it back some, and the intake size could be bigger and use a better quality air filter, somthing like this maybe :

And also maybe remake the UIM with bigger plenum ........

Hard to say what it's going to go like, But it's gota be better than the HBP, If it gets close to 200rwhp like this i will be happy.

how long till dyno day happens? i also thought about using a stock upper manifold. but then decided against it. how much power do you EXPECT it to put down?

Now it's time to sort your's out

Got the p-port tuned today, Had a good drive in it, After some more run in time i will put more timing, Better fuel and leaner tune into it, It starts very well, Idle's way better than it did (@14afr's too), And at 100kmph/5th gear it's so smooth just cruising, No bucking or pig rooting, Nice just like my 12a extend port did ... At wot Under 6k it's a bit sluggish over 6k it gets a 2nd wind and want's to go, All in all happy as with this cheap PP build so far haha

that actually is very civilized! it doesn't even sound like its that loud.

you could probably move the point where it comes on by changing the intake and or exhaust length, but hey just enjoy driving it!

It is quite quiet inside the car just cruising, But outside and when your foot is up it, It's noisey and idling in the driveway does nothing to make the neighbour's happy eaither haha.

Yea i want to change intake and exhaust a bit as well, But will drive as is for now to clock up some k's
