need help with plans!

the problem i am having is the intake setup.
i was thinking of running a t2 intake manifold with an ems or weber ida carbs.
i plan to use the car for drifting and dont know what to go with.
so far this is my plan to build an NA motor........

13bt block
s5 NA rotating assembly
racing beat header
bridgeporting and exhaust porting
full exhaust
eliminate emissions
koyo radiator
electric water pump
pulleys
electric fans
carbon apex seals
oil pan

this is what i got so far. any suggestions on the intake setup?
and any recomendations on the build?

Faberio have you ever used carbon apex seals? I am running a similar setup 13bt block, bridgeport with carbon apex seals and i have never had problems with sealing and neither has anyone else ive spoken to who as actually used carbon seals. From my experience it seems to be a myth perpetuated by people who have never used carbon apex seals, just like the bridgeport and peripheral port myths that are repeated like parrots by people who have never even seen these motors.

As to your intake, im using the tweakit 50mm IDA style ITB's and their TII intake manifold, bare in mind their manifold is slightly smaller than 50mm so some work needs to be done there. Im very happy with the results but there are many options out their, have seen Weber 51IDA's working very succesfully so its all about what u want.

That may be true, I have never used them, but then it is at least a myth perpetrated by mazdatrix if you read their little blurb on Carbon Seals.

They say carbons don't seal well at startup and idle which probably has more to do with the fact that they're one piece.

exactly. my carbon seal engne makes good compression cranking it by hand, but it is still full of assembly goo.
