What gear? It will have a dramatic effect in 1st gear. 3rd gear and up, it's barely noticeable.
The 10-lb doesn't really feel much different from a 21-lb, to me. The flywheel is only a fraction of the rotating mass involved. (The rotors, I think, count twice, because they are not only rotating but they are orbiting as well)
But it is a little noticable in 1st gear, and in my case it was free, so....

and yeah just grab the correct engine matching series rear counterweight from the auto trans models or buy a new one from mazdatrix or mazda or wherever.
pull the old clutch off and then flywheel then place the counterweight on rear and I would recommend replacing the rear main seal while your there since its probably high millage. I found it easier to put the assembly on when I didn't have the counterweight bolted to the flywheel, that keyway that lines up always gave me trouble so I just put the counter weight on then bolt the flywheel to the counterweight once its already on the engine.
dont forget to replace your pilot and throw out bearings and take into consideration purchasing of a new clutch since its a lot of work to take the trans out and etc so go nuts!
no lash adjustments of any kind just bolt the sucker on and you can use 2 chain links for a flywheel stopper, put a bolt on the flywheel and a bolt on the block and you can crank off the 2 and 1/8" flywheel nut
dont forget to get some bearing grease
