FWIW i made this for about 35$ i know its no masterpiece, bare in mind it wasnt completed or cleaned up yet in that photo, but the lengths are equal and i used mandrel bends...

wow, thats quite the piece. That pipe wont last very long dude. Atleats use schedule 40 black iron water pipe. You can get it in angles 22.5 45 and 90 and it has beveled edges already for welding since thats what its made for. Veyr inexpensive.

You do realize there is a lot more to fluid dynamics than "length" and... well I think that's the only consideration you thought of.
1st, those threaded couplings will generate a hell of a lot of turbulent flow. The 90 degree elbow there will mess up the flow velocity as well.
2nd, someone already mentioned this, but I don't think that steel is rated for the temps you will be seeing. It will probably start corroding after a couple months and break the welds.
By the way, I'm a mechanical engineer and I do not approve this in principle or execution.
