I'd like to know what size carb and what size header tubes and length. I'd be thrilled to make these kind of numbers and I'm using a 13bpp lol.

The id of headers is 48 mm and 800 mm long with 15 deg collector and one 3" straight thru muffler- RB dizzy with 2 MSD 6AL2 (the new version)Blaster 2 coils. 48 mm IDA carb with 42 mm chokes. ID in rotor housing is 43 mm venturi. Problem was that the carb leaned out over 8000 rpm to 14.8-15.2 AFR. We rejet it from185 main to 290 with lots of fuel curves, even bored out the needle valve to 3.3 mm, but same problem occured. The exhaust temp was 1420-1440F, almost identical which i've never seen before with a dizzy. Timing was 24L16T. Not satisfied with these numbers i will go back to the dyno in about a month. Hopefully the fuel curve is sorted out and 280 hp is achived...

Your EGT temps are too low and that choke is really small unless you want alot of bottom/midrange power. I notice you fall off at 8000rpm. That is pretty low for a pport. I would try a larger choke. AT least a 45- 46mm.

I'd do horrible things to/for those headers.

Did some dyno testing with a 12A standard bridge engine.235 stp corrected@9000 rpm and 210 Nm@7200 rpm. Same 48 IDA as on the 12a PP ,motor but with 44 mm chokes and 250 main and 140 air jets. ignition made best power at L25 T18 with the MSD 6AL2. The primaries was the same as on the PP motor.

I have a lot of experience with Superflow dynos and flow benches, they are my favorite hands down. Good stuff!

Hello! Could you send me information about the structure of the complete ignition? Have a 12A PP built after the pattern of Mazda Race, he runs well....but with the original ignition is from 6000 RPM end and there the power should only begin ... Carburetor is a 48er Weber ... Thanks in advance - Charly
