Hey guys hows it going. I have just registered at the site, and I have zero experience with the rotary engine and would like to learn because I have just picked up a project for a drift car. I bought a 1983 RX7 which was fully stripped and being ready for SCCA and the guy decided he didnt wanna do it anymore. There are some pics bellow. As you can see the inside looks like sht, the body and frame are straight, and half of the engine is missing, but wiring and brakes are good. Even has factory wheels. So I am planning on putting in a 3rd gen 13b-rew twin turbo engine in it and would like to know if someone can help me find a good, trustworthy site which sells engines in good shape. Also is there a site where I can find some engine mounts to mount the 3rd gen engine? The way I look at it is, its an RX7 so Im gonna keep it an RX7 just update the engine. Im happy to say Im not going with an LS1, or any US small block, or even the bad *** 20b from Mazda Cozmo. Which would be sick if it didnt cost like $5000. So anyway can someone direct me to some trustworthy sites for JDM engines, and some engine mounts would help. Thanks a lot guys. I know I should use the search button and look for answers to my questions but seeing as I am new to the site< I decided to introduce myself and while doing that show you my project and ask a few questions.
