Ya, seriously unless they are building you a race car 10k is ridiculous. Why don't you look at doing it yourself. You can get a GREAT engine from Chris at banzai racing. http://www.banzai-racing.com/

Haha, the motor that was in the car was actually done by Banzai. Nothing to say about them though since a previous owner had it done, not me. Anyway, I ended up buying an engine from rotaryrebuildstore.com.
That would be great! I think the plan now is to just pay the shop for pulling the engine and tearing it down, get the car out of there and do the install myself. I want to learn more about my car anyway. So, if your offer still stands, I might have to take you up on that soon. The only bad thing is that Boulder is quite a ways away from where the car is, the towing bill would be huge. I already asked my insurance company and they will not pay for another tow.
I live in boulder and have a garage you could store it in. On top of this, I would be happy to do do the R&R for you over a weekend.
I recently chipped a corner seal on my car and will be doing an R&R soon.
If you are thinking about taking a total loss on the car and parting it out, I will buy the core off you.

Nope haven't picked it up yet. I'm actually just going to have Precision do the work after all. They agreed to use my parts, and they were going to charge $1200 for removing the engine and tearing it down, as opposed to $1800 for just finishing the install...so the choice was obvious to me. I'm hoping it will be done by the end of February haha...
