I may catch you next trip BDC, I may not, no matter what I appreciate you and your help. Timing just isn't good for me and that is no ones fault. Thanx
I see you eyeing that N1 hood on the Group Buy section! You stay away from it! I want to be the only one with that hood in Colorado! LOL

no you don't have to worry about me, I would get BDC to tune before I would throw down for anything else like that, but I had to say something to that awesome deal. Right? I just want to be up and going this time next month.

On the record I spoke to someone this weekend that have had Steve and Brian both tune their cars. This person confirmed to me that they considered Brian to have done a better job with the street tuning. That is one opinion from someone that has had first hand experience with both tuners. I thought I would share that with you guys, and to also let BDC know that his track record has been really good so far and to keep up the good work! Chances are that you are still the one I get to tune, just maybe on that next trip. Thanx BDC

Glad to see BDC coming to the Springs on the 13th and 14th. I'll be out of town on the 13th so I will have to be tuned (day or night) on the 14th. Still waiting on major parts like nose, oil coolers and IC. Hope to have more than a mile on it before attempting a tune. Why is it things always come down to the last minute?

Ok it's finally been confirmed...my leave form was signed today so I'm off the 11th through the 14th...that should be plenty of time for a tune...looking forward to seeing you BDC... let me know if you're still needing that ride down here...

Hi BDC (and others who may have had similar issues) -
I am signed up for the tune this month, really looking forward to it. I installed my PFC about a month ago and have been pleased with the performance thus far but obviously looking forward to fine tuning it.
I have had a few idle issues since installing, but have been able to correct most of them by adjusting the idle screw. One time it decided to idle a bit higher, other times I seem to notice an up & down rev issue. It will jump up and down a bit until it is warmed up or it will just happen for no reason at all. I also noticed that at start-up, it does not seem to hold it's idle as well. In fact a few times I would start it and it would stall, but one the second go around it is fine. The normal "warm up cycle" where where it would hold the RPM's, then slowly let off & get to normal idle is now disabled and I am wondring how these issues are overcome.
Is this tune going to help correct some of these issues? Can anyone offer some expreience or help in resolving these? This was my only concern when replacing the ECU - opening up pandora's box and having issues that I cannot explain!
Thanks in advance - Jon

I am here at Marc Monaco's place in Broomfield now. Just got in this afternoon.
The tenative schedule for the Co Springs folks is from Friday evening to Sunday the 14th or even npossibly Monday the 15th. Since we have an itinerary for me that is 10 days, my schedule is very flexible and loose to help accomodate for everyone.
Jason, I'll give you a call either this evening or tomorrow to arrange for the ride down to the springs down to Lesley's house. I've already spoken with him and he's allowing me to stay there. Since it's in the middle of the Springs, hopefully it will be more central for you guys down there so we can call it "home base". I'll have to speak with him more about directions and where exactly he lives. I'll be doing a Haltech installation on his car over the weekend but I'll have time to tune anyone and everyone that shows up. If we've got time on Friday, and if you've got time to do it then instead of Saturday, I'd like to do your car on that day. If not, Sat or Sun will work too; whichever fits your convenience.
For those of you that need it, my cell # is 214 728 4198. Give me a call anytime and we'll try and get everything setup. For the Denver area folks, I'll be here working on Mike's car tomorrow (Wednesday) and will have much of Thursday and Friday open so please give me a call if I've missed anyone.
So far I've got MikeB and Marc for the Denver area folks, then for CoSprings area I've got Goukid7, Mfpcc, jbrx7tt, and Cmack (Chris).
We're also tenatively planning for a track day at Bandimere on te 18th, right?

just thought I'd let everyone know, I blew a **** load of money and my car still isn't tuned...had a fuel issue, so it looks like one of my new 1680 injectors is bad, just my ******* luck...hope we get BDC out here again soon when/if I find out what the hell is wrong with my fuel system. Everything seems fine, we troubleshooted the pump, filter and checked the injectors for leaks and on the dyno I held a constant 55 psi under boost. I guess the car would go into boost pig rich then lean out really bad and no matter how many adjustments he made we still had the same result. All in all I'm pissed off at the car right now, I've blown so much money over the past few days for nothing! I'm seriously wanting the part the damn car out and just wash my hands of everything for now and maybe start over in a year or so but I know that probably wont happen, just speaking out of frustration. Oh well, I hope everyone else has better luck...
