Nice, I've got a few friends that may not necessarily need you to tune them but they may just get a baseline dyno done so we can get the 5 people minimum for the dyno that way we can get the $65 hr rate...

Hey Mike, Lesley will be in contact w/ you today about his payment. I recommend getting the ticket purchased once he Paypal's you his $50. I am not sure how much longer the airfare rates will be as cheap as they are. They have a tendency to grow legs and march onward.

Thanks,

B

Okay finally I get to chime in Here. And no im not a newbie. Just been having some major password issuses. In a few days im going to buy BDC's ticket and have him fly right into Coloraod Springs. If you guys cant scrounge up the money dont worry about it right now. I will buy his ticket and all of you Colorado Springs guys should be okay. As far as you denver guys well you might have to make a trip to Colorado Springs now. My main concern is me gtting my car tuned and done. All you other guys who want there car worked on as well since I will buy the ticket you just have to pay $50.00 just like how Mike B was doing.

So as to prevent any confusion especially for Marc and Mike, consider this option a "plan B" if things happen to fall through with the original plan (which I doubt will happen). Lesley's serious about me coming down to the Springs to do his Haltech and tune his car and is basically offering to fly me up if the other deal doesn't work out w/ Mike. The original plan is for Marc and Mike to bring me up to Denver, do the Denver guys' tuning there for a few days, then via Jason go down to Co Springs and do Lesley's and Jason's cars down there as well as anybody else that has already signed up or shown up. In any event, we'll get all this straightened out easily. If anyone has any questions, fire off a PM to me.

This is starting to get confusing? Why would you guys both pay for BDC to fly here? It sounds like there is a bunch of people that are going to have to drive pretty far except you Springs guys? I am a little worried about this whole plan, not that I wasn't already questioning if this tune is in my best interest. I have been hearing tons of conflicting information and advice. I am more confused on what I should do now more than ever. I am going to wait til this gets a little more set in stone before I get in on this. For us N. Colorado guys, the springs is like 2 hours away. Do you guys no how much 108/93 mix is right now? I am glad people are getting this done, but this does not serve everyone well. I am going to have to pass just thinking of how much this is going to cost me personally. I am not spending $400.00 to drive to the springs and waste 100.00 in gas and however much the Dyno is, just to tune for 3 more pounds boost. I will run the base map, and get some help from some good friends with a new one if I need it. That is astronomical, I can get Steve to come straight to Fort Collins for that much. Thanx for helping me make my decision guys. Times are too tough for me right now to throw an undisclosed amount of money in the wind. BDC thanx for all your time and help.

Sonix,

I am still tuning in Denver. Nothing has changed at all. My primary objective is Marc and Mike and anybody else who comes to Denver. Once they're done, my secondary objective is the guys in Colorado Springs. The original plan is for me to come for about 10-11 days, leaving me with plenty of time to take care of both crowds in either area.

Ok i just bought the ticket, hes coming to denver on the 9th and leaving the 18th, the 17th he is not working as we are going to go play at the track that day is set in stone so no work for him. He will be staying to mi casa and the first day he dosent work and the last day. We will be I 25 tuning the day after and probably not dyno tuning that will be the last min thing. Up until the 14th he will be doing w/e he feels the need to in denver then on the 14th and 15th brian will be going to the springs to install a haltech and tune another FD. He needs a day for each . Brian is doing us a big favor doing this with such short notice so treat him well! this is his tentitive schedule for his trip to co.

Ok well he is coming to the springs to tune only on the 14th and 15th...well how bout I took my leave time to be off 11th through the 13th...so I guess I will be cancelling soon. My car is not in a state to drive to Denver and I already know it's always out of the question for anyone up north to come down this way for tunes, meets, etc. This is so ******* frustrating...

Sorry about your troubles, I hope you fix them, but unless your in Denver you aren't close for anything. No offense but I have no reason to go to the springs? That is so far away from us, would you ever come here? alright then. That is why this never happens. We all have expenses and stuff to worry about, gas is an issue. I for one started a thread on my situation and the tune. After what I got from the Big List including Pluto, I will be having Steve come when I am ready. I am not going to play around with this and I also plan to get a twin power, Steve said he doesn' understand why you would skimp on fuel and ignition sue to the importance. That is all I need to hear. I want my car perfect so I don't waste my time and the tuners time. I am not ready, I hope to meet you springs guys and hopefully have a reason to come there sometime. Goodluck

Installed my Power FC yesterday....WOW BEST THING I HAVE DONE THUS FAR

It makes such a BIG difference...super smooth throughout the entire power band, throttle response has been improved greatly and just plain feels more solid! What a difference....can't wait for the tune....why did I wait so long!

Any reason we can't have the springs done on the 12th and the 13th? What works best for you Jason?

Sorry about yesterday, very rough day and alittle alcohol in the system make from some interesting messages lol I just work up! Anyways, the shitty thing is my leave hasn't even been approved yet, so I may be looking at only having the 14th off. 13th and 14th would be ideal, because I have the 14th off regardless...and the 13th I could talk my boss into letting me off early if I'm don't happen to get my leave approved. If my leave is approved, those dates would still work and I could just take the 11th and 12th to get the car to the shop to do a once over before I have Bryan do a once over as well and tune...

I take every single bit of that stuff into account before I even go out of town to work on someone's car. I do my best to make sure the hardware setup is at or near what kind of realistic goals they're expecting. This is why I have people either call me or PM me before I'm even on a plane. I'm not skimping on anything here and I honestly have no clue what in the world he's talking about.

I mean no offense towards you Sonix, but if you'd like him to tune, then you'll get what you pay for with him. There's a reason why I do several hours long tunes per car and he doesn't; mine is well worth the money, I feel. In any event, good luck with the car and I hope it all works out.

B
BDC, please don't take my comments that it has anything to do with you at all. Actually the fuel comment was meant for me, why "I" or anyone would want to skimp on fuel, not BDC, sorry for the confusion. I appreciate everything you have done, its more about me not being ready and having to make a quick decision. Like I said before I have to be wise about what I do and everyone has a different opinion about this stuff. I have to go with what I hear from people I trust and know more than I about my situation. I guess I wish I had more money to play with, but I don't. I will do what works best and is in my best interest, and that is getting things installed and see what the numbers are and go from there. I may catch you next trip BDC, I may not, no matter what I appreciate you and your help. Timing just isn't good for me and that is no ones fault. Thanx
