Does Montana have a local club? If so, who is running it and do you have a website?

I have also purchased the domain of www.RockyMountainRotaries.com for the Mountain regions to use. Eventually I would like to have a Regional meet!

We have had a Regional meet for the RX-8's for the last 2 years and got hotel rooms and a full day at a Road race course....but they shut down all the tracks in Denver so we have nothing to do now. SCCA is pretty borning and most RX-7's don't seem to drag race.


I'm hoping we will have a new track open up soon.

 

randy i own a decently modded 3rd gen, used to have an 84 gsl-se but i sold that one. any other fd owners in montana?

We have no club. Most of us guys in Great Falls just kind of knew each other and or pulled each other over and what not..

By the way....You did give me the idea to start a thread for each state in the Mountain areas. The only reason I started a new one is so I can updated it daily at the top. It's too hard to go through 6 pages of names to see who all is in the state and what they have.

Chris Boots: My 1982 has a street ported 12a with a highly modified Nikki carb (daily driver) with a custom Edelbrock air cleaner, MSD igntion upgrade, all new suspention packages from various companys, 15 in enkie rims with Yocahoma tires, New sound system, of course with subs, new seats, ect ect. I also recently bought a 1988 RX-7 GXL TII with more upgrades and mods to list or I haven't seen. It was all put in by the previous owner. BTW I live very close to Kalispell MT

 

update: Turbonetics TO4B big shaft H-trim hybrid .70 A/R S5 hybrid. P720cc/S860cc, Aeromotive FPR, -6AN fittings and stainless steel all around. Megasquirt coming very soon.

 

Does anyone in Montana want to continue updating this list? I need someone who is on quite a bit. Who ever runs the Rotary club in Montana would be best. I can continue to update this list if noone else wants too but I figured I would turn it over to someone local.

 

I currentlet dont think much mods are goin on right now to tell you the truth. But I guess when something comes up I can tell you or update whenever I can because it seems I am the most ever on checking my thead. And the people from Montana usually say on my thread first so whatever happens I'll try to keep it updated. OK

The time is here that I need to give someone the ability to update this list. As I stated before, I don't have time to update all the states in the Rocky Mountain Region. I need to find someone who..........

Is on RX7club at least once a week
Would like to start a statewide club or has started one
Needs to be good at organizing local meets twice a year
Big into the import scene to help find new Rotary owners

Please PM if you are able to help me out. I will be adding someone within a week.

 

I think I might be able to pull this off. All I would have to work on is to get in touch with the other rx7 owners.

 

Oh ya update on my car also, got a new one well kinda.

- 87 Mazda RX7 Sport - Color Red - Mods - BBS Rims, engine transplant from my old GXL, LSD rear end swap from GXL, removed power steering, kept AC, Eibac Springs, Stock rear shocks, GR-2 Front struts, cone filter and adapter plate, ACV Blocked off, 5th and 6th port wired open. 2 1/4in from stock header to racing muffler and supertrapp tip. - Interior- grey interior, 90 black turbo seat, 91 steering wheel, 91 shifter and shift ****, GXL leather passenger seat. 88 Blacked out warning lights. Complete power window and power mirror conversion from GXL. Looking to do complete turbo conversion. Thats about it for now. Hopefully more to come though. Got some pics too. The last one is my old GXL the rest are of the Sport.
