Updated! I saw the M. Blue FD with 99 spec spoiler at Precision Import Repair last week that Ray saw at Sonic. Hopefully he will register his car here. We have quite the list going here! It will be exciting to meet the new Rotary members we have gained in just the last 6 months. I have added on the average of 3 new Rotary members every month!

Details for Rotary meet to come soon! Waiting for the weather to cool down a bit!

What is your real name? I hope you make the Rotary meet we will have in August or Sept. I would love to see the Red interior in person....They are very rare!

Just so everyone knows....I am waiting for details of the Colorado Super Car cruise before I schedule the Rotary meet. I would like to hold both the same day.

The real name is Noah Wilson. Yeah, I did a lot of looking and this car was in ok shape but it sold me on the red interior. But crap have I had to put the money into it since i bought it.... But that does come with the FD i guess.. Hopefully I will be able to make the meet. keep me posted by email if possible on when the meet is. The car has been running a little bit warmer that i would like for it too so i am not sure how far i will want to drive it to make the meet. The plan is a new radiator this winter/spring...

Appropriate first post

Ross (wineguy13) Palisade, 1980 Gold LS, Stock (except for what my dad, the original owner let go to hell, like the leather seats ) I am trying to learn all I can to get it back to when I remember it as a kid. Runs great though! Not many of us on the Western Slope...

I hope most of you subscribe to this thread.....Make sure you check out the thread I just posted about our next Rotary meet on Sept 24th 2006! I made it a sticky! We have about 100 Rotary owners excluding RX-8's so if we can get 1/2 of them to the meet it would be huge!

I hate to reschedule this meet for those who could have made it on the 23rd but can't make it on the 30th but today I looked up the weather on www.weather.com and it easily made up my decision showing the 30th is supposed to be 71% vs 56% and raining on the 23rd.

Very few meets do I actually call every person in my phone and I will be doing this to create a huge turnout. Even though this is an official Rotary meet....I opened the meet up to "all Mazda's" as well. I will be parking them in a different area. Please spread the word!

What: Mazda Meet
When: Sept 30th 2006
Where: Sil-terhar Mazda at 120th and Wadsworth
Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm Then cruise to Blackhawk/Central city for pic's
Who to contact: Mike B 303-929-1998 or Adam 303-469-1801

Looks like we have 2 girls now! One with a 2nd gen and one with a 3rd gen! There used to be a girl who owned a 3rd gen here in Colorado about 7 years ago but I think she sold it....She used to hang out at Rotary Specialist a bunch.

Christine....what color do you have and how long have you owned it? Make sure you sign up for the Yahoo group at....

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/...b_of_Colorado/

It will send you emails on rotary meets ect. You can also set it up to only give you messages for special delivery only if you wish.

It is a red manual. I have owned it for 8 years. I bought it with 3,900 miles on it in West Virginia. Now it has 41,000 miles. I will try to make it to the Rotary meet on Saturday!

Question

Speaking of seeing FDs (OK, not that we were):
I was driving near a Montego Blue FD w/ tan interior, R1 spoiler, bronze wheels, Racing Beat dualtip exhaust, yesterday heading west on I-70. Older gentleman driving. Anyone have any idea who it was?

I was trying vaguely to get his attention to ask if he was coming to the meet Saturday, but he was determined not to look over. Probably since I was in my Eclipse, and he probably thought I wanted to race him or something.

There is also an older gentleman with gray hair that I saw a few weeks ago driving north out of Boulder on the Diagonal. It was a stock-looking Red RX-7, but I don't remember the trim package. He took the 47th St exit.

If you look at my list I have of Colorado owners......I state that I have spotted a older gentleman with a Red FD many times....I think he lives off of Kipling and Morrison road. I have talked to him once many years before I even owned an RX-7 (about 6 - 7 years ago). It had a very curvy aftermarket spoiler that is not the R1 spoiler.

I think the older gentleman driving the MB FD was a guy I met at a bank off of Littleton Blvd and Broadway. But he had Centerline chrome wheels....not sure if it would be him with new wheels.

You guys need to chase them foo's down! Maybe I have very stalker characteristics about me and FD's but I have chased guys down for 5+ miles until they stopped! LOL
