The 3000GT/Stealth club colorado chapter is hosting it's Super Car Gathering! This will be it's third year and each year it keeps growing! It will be held 10:00am in the park & ride on a 120th and I-25, on the date of Augest 27th 2005

if your not on that list you have to have proof of over 500HP or an 11sec timeslip.

 

Are you joking? Most of those cars are not over 500HP or even close when they're stock at this altitude. Thats a rediculous standard.

I think clean FC's should be able to come. My car has over $8,000 into it, but I havnt been to the dyno and I dont drag race. Look at my Mods list/VB garage and tell me why I shouldnt be allowed to come.

How annoying.

 

Aight ill see if i can get around to it, mostly to see other peeps mods, my car right now is got nothin in it running 12A stock.

 

it's not my rules, I think with 8K invested you should be able to come...

We've been over this plenty of times with the people that planned it. Looks like they are going for exotics mainly. I've argued for years that RX7's of all types should be aloud. They are just trying to keep it more of an Exotic and high end feel.

 

Anyone else find it funny that it's hosted by the 3000GT/Stealth group and they're not even on the list?

 

Parastie - Since 3000gt/stealth are hosting it when didn't really think we needed to add us to the list. Most would know that, boostin13b I think we should make special cases for those who have over 5 - 6 K invested.

 

It's not really how much is invested. You can get a special aproval if you send pics and info of your car. One of our cars aren't on the list, but were invited just do to the stuff we have done. You can PM me info on your car and I'll relay it to people who will decide whether or not it will be aloud. It's not up to me, but I will help out if I can.

I didn't think it was being hosted by 3K's and stealths. I thought Pete always organized it, and Luke just took it over this year. But he won't be able to make it now, so I'm going to talk to him and see if I can help out at all.

 

I understand how they want to keep the cars that are coming exotic, but there is always other cars that will see the meet and show up, like civics, 240sx, and wrx. there will be other cars that will show up. But for me, I'm bring my 3rd gen RX-7 FD3S. See you there

 

Pete DID run it, I always helped Pete a tiny bit, and 3000gt/stealth always put it on. I was told in the forums Luke couldn't get on to any forums, so I was supposed to. Send me a PM with pics and i'll ok it. I made special expections the last 2 years for cars...

 

Were bringing our S14, but we had a special invite from Pete when he was still running the show. But it's plenty worthy. I would be driving the FD if I had plates.

 

Anybody planning on attending besides me? I know Matt's probably going to go. Maybe Marc, but we need more FD's there. I think Derick is going to show as well. Mike B, you going to be ready?

I am back from the gathering. A good tunrout from the NSX croud, and you guys. Vipers none, and my group 3000gt/stealth only had 2 cars. Oh well it was a fun time, who had the black rx7 i talked to? green stealth
