icemark (the moderator) in the 2nd gen forums knows all about the alarms and security do some searches as he has posted alot about this

 

My alarms a hooker and goes off when something blows on it, so i popped the hatch half way so it disables it because i'm lazy. otherwise, you can turn it off by unlocking the door with the key. Incase no one told you yet...
