Announcing our Silver Anniversary Celebration!

The 25th Annual Exotic Sports Car Show & Concours d’Elegance is Sunday, June 8, 2008, at Arapahoe Community College. Many exciting things are planned for the special anniversary! This will be the 4th year the Mile High Rotary Club has participated in this great show! Being this is a very important year for the show, I'm asking for everyones help this year to commit to this show. The entry fee will be about $35, but all proceeds go to charity! I'm tired of our club having 7 or so cars! It's time we stepped up this year and get 30 cars! We do this all the time at our normal Spring Rotary meet! Why not here? Anyways.....please respond now if you can make it this year! When registration comes out I will let you guys know!

You know I'll be there Mike. I'll be bringing my red FC of course. But we might have addition to the family this weekend. Looking at another 87 Turbo TII that is all original and bone stock with only 83,000 miles on it. I'll keep you posted if we get it or not.

 

Registration will be out soon......we are limited to 10 cars this year in the show so far. I need a list of who plans on attending. If you plan on being there, please reply to this message. Entry fee will be $35. We need a good showing this year!

 

That kinda sucks that we're limited to only 10 cars. That would be awesome to have a ton of rotary powered cars there.

 

I'll plan on coming. You'll have to remind me in May so I don't forget. I'll also put it into my planner/phone. I can do $35 no problem and it's for a good cause right so what the heck.

 

Oh and I'll be bring my '79 Limited Edition SA

 

Mike I would like to have my car there, but if there are people with more mods and cleaner cars I don't want to be taking up a space. We'll keep in touch as it gets closer. If there are still spots left then I'd love to drive mine down and park it next to Glen's.

Guys.....sign up is just around the corner! We are not limited to how many cars we can bring......the only reason I put 10 down is because the last 2 years we had only 7. I would love for 20+ to make it this year as myself, Rich, and Claus all sit on the board of directors for the show.


You do not have to get your car judged! To be honest with you I will not be having my car judged. My car is not the type of car that will win this event as the older, clean, stock cars have a better chance of winning. This is not about what mods you have! I just like having my car shown at the most prestigious car show in Denver!


Plus its for a good cause! So who else we got! Let's get 20!

 

sadly i have 2 problems with this, 1. i don't think my car is near show worthy. (even if it's not being judged.) but i'd still go if the other thing 2. it wasn't on sunday.
that is the main problem for me.
i just don't do stuff like that on sunday, or else i'd be there 100%

You guys can still sign up. The cut off date is May 12th before it jumps up to $60 vs the $35. We have 5 signed up now so far, but would like to see at least 12 this year at a minimum!


Remember guys...you do not have to be judged on this show. Do it for a good cause and represent the Rotary club!

Hey guys and girls.....Since I'm incharge of the Volunteer committee this year, can any of you guys help this year? We need people for 2 hour shifts. Anyone with a broken Rotary want to come help this year? You will at least get in for free this year! (hey $10 is $10!)
