A few people have told me that they've put them in the mail. When I get them I'll mark you as paid
We should have a great turnout. Everyone should come to this event.

Eveyone needs to make a checklist before Steve Kan arrives. This is what he said in an earlier post.
"Here're some items to inspect/replace before the dyno. New plugs (less than 1k miiles), new fuel filter (less than 5k miles), inspect spark plug wires, oil change, full tank of whatever gas you normally run, inspect tires (no nails or anything that can fly out during the dyno), inspect coolant fluid (change if necessary), clean air filter, put all the mods in that you plan to run before coming to the dyno (I don't think there'll be enough time to install them on the same day)."

hey guys,
Just to add more to the list.
IF you're running stock turbos (please add an additional O2 bung somewhere that is easy to get to (you know how hard to change the O2 on the downpipe). If you're a single turbo, make sure that the o2 bung is in place (I have seen some single turbo kit w/o O2 bungs recently, don't know what they're thinking).
Also, street tuning is much faster than dyno tuning. I usually spend 45mins - 2hrs on the dyno (could be as much as 4 hrs per car) and 30 mins at most on the street.
Heat is the main factor on dyno tuning so depending upon how hot the car gets during each pull, it could take longer/shorter. I can usually make 3-4 pulls before shutting the car off and cool down whereas a car running on the street gets cool much faster.

Which do you think is more effective? Dyno or street?
Im thinking about dropping the dyno tuning cause im short on cash, unless we would just hop on to fine tune some things. As far as financial was I can afford about 2 hours on the dyno.
As far as the O2 bung goes, I have one already, and its about 6 or so inches from the exit of the turbo. Is that going to be too close for the sensor? It may be another inch or two further, but I doubt thats much of a difference. Also, my EGT probe is a few inches infront of it, is that going to disturb the readings. If youre worried about the Downpipe getting too hot, it has been jet-hot coated with their 2000 degree stuff, but ive also been thinking about putting some turbo(header) wrap on it (I just have to make sure its not going to conflict with the coating.)
