A pic of what? lol
Anywho, if anyone remembers a yellow, with black body kit fb, that was me.... Have a new project, just got my dual exaust in and finishing up on my Dellorto rebuild.... But theres no way in heck im gonna drive mine until its rained a couple times and all the chemicals are off the road...
About the ne street scene, Im not talking about everyone there, as I have friends that post on there. But drama, crap, and someone named Sithor keep me from enjoying that site/scene. Ill be at the autocrosses this year (where my brown one died) and some times at flashbacks if I can pretend that Ill see something different lol. Im thinking about running the Loes Hill scenic byway alot this year, grew rather fond of it riding my bike through it, week end rides?
BTW
ninja, its like 4 degrees outside, us Nebraskans hibernate and develople different lives in the winter I play videogames and go to the bar alot more! Ohh and wish that I had a heated garage, or room to work in the garage

I was in omaha in the first week of feb and I did't want to leave the house; it was so cold. I never even had the chance to take the FD out for a ride. Oh well! I guess next time when it gets warmer. I love miami weather.....

Pretty much any city/town not in Sarpy county or Washington county... Alot of people like to go to a spot over the bridge... I was gonna post it, but now you got me all paranoid!. Actually if you look a couple of my posts back I did mention it... If you wanna go ***** out and not worry about the po po, the SCCA soloII racing should start in a month or 2.
Ohh and Sgtblue, I think ive seen you... at a couple of autocrosses. I have the turd brown rx7 that blew up last year, kind of scared to take her out this year
Yall can click on my name and look for the topic I started about restoring my car. I hope to be out alot this year, depending if we don't have a gas crisis LOL.
Also wanted to mention, if anyone hears about a dead 3rd gen, let me know. Prefferably unmodified.

IIRC LEC was my last autoX of the season....I had serious coolant seal issues and screwed up my knee at work...so the car and I were both broke.
Doing my own rebuild (see photo a few posts up) and hope to make a few more this year. I'll look for ya.

I remember, and your car too. I think it was at the Lancaster Co. Event Center. That brown "turd" looked like alot of fun. Your motor sure looks pretty now. New clutch and PP, stainless headers and is that a lightened flywheel I see?

Yup aluminum, could of got stainless steel for cheap, but wanted to go crazy Also have a Dellorto carb I just rebuilt (orderd a bunch of crud from europe, guy before stripped some screw heads). Its plenty fun, and you don't see to many brown cars anymore. Since I didn't paint the engine bay, Im just gonna repaint it stock.

That was a relatively popular color back then.......and somehow looks "right" on the FB. I think the collector car guys refer to it as being "Period correct". You might be surprised on how nice it ends up looking refinished, especially if you clear-coat.

I used to work for an auto painter... Going to do some asking around/ research to find a proficient enough person to paint her next fall/winter. I want it to be stock, going to even put the rubber door bumpers on it, and I am still in limbo if I want to put a body kit on this one. Sort of ruins the factory lines.
Oh and my car broke down in C.B. at the event before the lancaster one. I was still at the latter though. I believe the guys name is Ken, him and his son drove the awd red talon, but after the event (he was just watching) he went all the way to millard to get his trailer and come back and haul my car back to my house.

I haven't checked in here in a while...I just took my car out today since we finally had some decent weather. Yeah, prob not a good idea with road salts and not having a place to clean it before parking it back in the garage. Oh well, it was worth it

In my 8 or so years with 7's I have NEVER encountered ANYONE within miles and miles that works on rotary engines let alone good.. Haven't looked everywhere though. I know some have done it themselves but just not anyone that is in buisness... Id love to, need to do my own rebuild first and maybee a couple more before I start messing with peoples engines
