I'm for meeting at Porky's on a Saturday. They can hold about 20 cars.

If the fellow with the $1300 shows up he can buy all of us some food. LOL.

Jered stopped by today and sold me a couple of thinwallsockets. He will be in town till October.
We are planing on going to MAP but not this weekend as he is going elsewhere and he will dyno tune his car and I'll just dyno my car.

If any of you are interested in getting together at MAP then let me know.

I'm also willing to met all you guys at Porky's some time.

Hopefully the guy with the $1300 will show up and buy us some food.

MNMazda meets at porkys every wednesday night. Its mostly speed3's and speed6's but it always nice to see some rx7s show up.

 

They must have a big group to be able to meet every wednesday. If we were to re-establish the mn rx7 club I was thinking we should maybe hold meets once every month, or maybe once every two months. Depending on our group size, if there are enough of us, it would make more sense to increase the meets per month/s, but otherwise it wouldn't make much sense. Of course special occasions such as dyno runs, group rides, ect... shouldn't fall into this category.

I agree with LUV that we need to hold a meet soon. We should probably give it at least a week from now to get everyone noticed and up to date, the meet on wednesday night sounds nice, I unfortunately won't be available on wednesday as I have late night labs at the university that day. The Saturday meet I think will work out better with everyone since it's a weekend and alot of people can spare a weekend off for a meet?

I will be available almost every weekend, everyone should post up what works out for them so we can arrange a meet that works out with everyone and possibly get the club reorganized.....

Oh yeah, and someone needs to tell me where this porky's place is : )

 

Ill be heading back to school at the U soon here. If you wanna hold a meet in my driveway to figure out why my car is losing oil pressure as it warms up, feel free! lol

Me and my fd friends are down we go to uni every weekend but we hang out where all the imports stay. At porkys not alot of the guys there like imports but they seem to not care about fd's cause I guys its nice. I dont know but everytime I drive in there everyone looks at you like your in the wrong place. LOL maybe just me but thats how I feel. But Im down for a gather. just let me know when it is Ken and I'll call up my boys

There is nobody that will not like your cars at Porky's.. When I go there I have about the nicest car there. I always have young guys liking my car and taking pics.

You and your buddy's should stop by.

I'm planning on having Kan back to MN and tuning Jered's 20B beast in the next two moths.

If any other Mazda guys want their cars tuned then let me know.

well I will have my engine back from Howard coleman probably with in the next few weeks. so I would be interested.

 

I'll post a pic of my brother's drag car. It's a Viper blue "69 Dart. The pic will show him doing a wheel stand racing his son' "87 RX-7 with SBC and NOS. Jeff beat him in that race becaues of the wheel stand. Jeff also beat Jered's 20B in a street race.

He's going to a Pink's drag event in IA on Sept 4-5th,

tell your brother to follow me on turns ken. : ) and then well see how fast he is. LOL race us where our cars class stands. Fd's takes turn like its glued onto the road. But yeah I was out tonight (friday) ran a couple of cars and beat them. Nothing too hard. but it was fun being ahead.

 

That was 3 years ago Ken. Jeff's car is a monster out of the hole. He let off before I even hit 3rd gear and was realing him in. It was just for fun, radials vs. et streets. That was back in the stock tranny and 14psi days. He will still kill me out of the hole.

I was going to head down to the Midway tonight. I got home from up north later than expected.

 

I was out at uni friday and saturday with my friends. we had fun hanging out. didnt see ken come to the import side.

hey ken we should all do a gather at my work. I now work at a performance shop that just opened. Specializing in rx7's. Yes I said it we work on rx7's. The shop opened in aug 1st. Its located in Burnsville. We are doing group hang outs every wednesdays after 6pm. BBQ and can chat about cars. Gather all the rx7 guys and come out. It will be fun and everyone can get to know eachother and tour the shop. here are some fliers of the shop and cars. Tomorrow is Wednesday so we will be hanging out at the shop and having a rx7 meet hang out. every one is welcome even if you dont have ur rx7 running or if you dont have a rx7. Ya I've been there twice bringing Kan there to fix and tune a guy's car from IA.

35W was closed coming back to the cities and that was not a fun deal.

I'll shoot for next week also. My clutch is acting up not releasing all the way. I guess I am going to pull it and check it out.. I'm just getting tired of working on it.

 

How late are you guys usually there on Wednesdays? I get out of work in West st. Paul around 11:30

 

it depends how late everyone stays. we stay until the crowed starts to fade away.

Car will be back together Sat. Floater plate was sticking in the clutch. I'll try to swing down by the shop, if not for sure the Midway.

 

damn.. i wish i lived around that area to meet up with you guys.. guys in WI meet up but there not that big yet.. not alot of 7's here.. at the meet there would be about 5 rx7 and maybe 4 other cars to domestics... i would like to run my rx7 all the way up there.. i got a 13b RE in my fc.. if i dont make it this year ya should keep posting and ill catch ya for sure next year if you guys still meet up..

we came out to uni on saturday night and hanged out with ironmdnx and luv94rx7. Ironmdnx might be coming to dyno his car this coming wednesday after shop hours so if any one is interested in hanging out you are more than welcome to. We do Hang outs every wednesday so when ever you guys dont have anything going on on wednesday nights after 7 you should come and bring friends to come hang out with us.
