Not really, but it's certainly odd to see a picture of your car on an automotive website you frequent. They embellished some of the information and I tried not taking credit for the stuff like installing the rebuilt engine but I guess you can't write a novel about every car.

....although the part about having to rebuild a 13bREW every 40 to 60k is a little much.

Yeah, I wrote a few notes about the car to accompany the pictures and I think they took the "new engine at 41k miles" to mean "lol rotary rebuild time."

 

Hey I was curious, has anyone around lawrence ever dealt with these guys?
fine line cars and bikes I'm in the process of buying an 89 gtu from them, but I told them I refuse to pay them $2200 until it's at least running reliably (I'm practically giving this guy my 89 civic to keep him from going to someone else with it) and now he's got me picking up freakin' parts for it...

what color is the gtu? if its white and the one im thinking of the motor is on its last leg.

 

It's white with a dented in fender. It seems as though it needs a little work, but I'm not a professional or anything.

Yeah, we need to start thinking about this before too much longer....see what interest there is to do something in Wichita.

 

The park by the zoo was a nice spot we used a year ago. The drive was nice to, nobody ever put up video or too many pics. I am down to be a part of putting this together. Hopefully I will go from showing up with no car to showing up with my 83 CYM and my new toy RX8. Let me know if you want to meet up to shoot some ideas or just roll around on a nice Sunday afternoon.
