I see that kid at the Banzai cookouts bout every time. He's got a nice car. His friend he was with at one of the last meets was pickin' apart my FD pretty good. I think he's got a Banzai motor in it. Seems like an alright guy.

Its a pet=peeve of mine too
and I agree with you keith, et al.. not a big deal to me anymore..
but just to argue semantics...
mo·tor /ˈmoʊtər/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[moh-ter] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. a comparatively small and powerful engine, esp. an internal-combustion engine in an automobile, motorboat, or the like.
2. any self-powered vehicle.
4. Also called electric motor. Electricity. a machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, as an induction motor.
ALSO!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Origin: 1580–90; < L mōtor mover, equiv. to mō- (var. s. of movére to move) + -tor -tor]

n.
Something, such as a machine or an engine, that produces or imparts motion.
A device that converts any form of energy into mechanical energy, especially an internal-combustion engine or an arrangement of coils and magnets that converts electric current into mechanical power. (what about a hydralic motor?? )
so yeah
"ENGINE" is better.. more specific.. because IC (internal combustion) Engines use thermal engine.. to make mechanical power..
as you all know..
as an aside... and for futher reference

If u wish, even though i never called u a redneck to begin with, u brought that upon yourself. I wasn't even talking to u when i made that statement... - re-read who i quoted and even then i wasn't calling any one specific person that term. btw what do those mirrors look like do they have a gap in them like these or are they solid?

Tell ya what fellas, I'll go ahead and rephrase my statement to kinda narrow it down for those who need it.
My Quote:
I see that kid at the Banzai cookouts bout every time. He's got a nice car. His friend he was with at one of the last meets was pickin' apart my FD pretty good. I think he's got a Banzai motor that is a rotary internal combustion 1.3L in it. Seems like an alright guy.
