Yeah, yeah, yeah. Make fun all you want to. A kid is on the way. I'm not looking for a car to be a performance oriented vehicle, nor anywhere close to it. I just found a good deal on this car, and decided why the hell not.

My only concerns were gas mileage and safety. Its definitely a safe car, and gets over 30 mpg. I can't complain at all.

Some of you know me some don't. I'm Jorge and I just got another FC, had one before but now own the BananaBeater thus SN. Anyway the wheel bearing is out on the rear drivers side so if anyone has a hub, we need to talk. If any of you have one in your pocket right now that would save me the trouble of digging an FC out of a pile of camaros from the nearest junkyard well then I might just have some money for you. Give me a call 260 403 9562 or txt whatever gets your rocks off.

who cares how much the STi costs???

I'm poor too, I work, i pay for stuff.

most of you guys have it EASY...

no rent/mortgage to worry about

trust me.. it would be FAR FAR easier for you to have an STi than me..

you could make Gross $1000/month and drive one..

would cover, payment, gas, insurance.. (because you don't have to worry about, mortgage, PMI, health insurance, property tax, food, cable, electric, gas bills...etc... )

so i don't want to hear it....

jeff

if i were you, i'd be working like 20hours/week, and going to school...

I know you're just giving me ****. I'm giving myself just as much ****. Never thought I'd see the day when front wheel drive was in my driveway. haha

I would love to have an STi, but I'm already taking out a loan on a house as well. Main priority is growing up, these days. Oh well, the way I see it is that if I take care of all these concerns now I can have all my fun later.

I'm not freaking... just laying it down yo... so no need to chill

ok dude, as usual.. I'm old... so i'll tell you.. that is a dumb plan..

SERIOUSLY
go to school now
get your basic math/engrish/communications classes the **** out the way..

then you can change plans about attending from there..

why not drive an STi?
from a completely unbiased opinion, what else is better out there???

what would you drive?? any of you, and why???

so yeah, get you a lame 20hour/week job with flexible hours.. to make attending 3 classes next semester easy..

and just do it!!! seriously
I'd be happy to cruise around IVY tech or IPFW with you to get you registered and all that.

a lot of you may not realize it..
but one of the BIG reasons I am so chapped about my break-up is..
I supported her through school, when she was done.. things were supposed to get easier for me... eg. i could get a less demanding job.. and I could go back myself. well that didn't happen..

don't get me wrong, I'm not bragging.. just making the statement.
I'm no idiot, and i have far more earning potential than what I am making.. me not finishing my ME degree is a mistake... and I know I letting the whole world down....

anyway, jeff you are no idiot either.. so listen to this old man.. use the opportunites youth presents while you can!

i know chuck but you know me i just gotta figure stuff out, if i dont have my *** signed up for classes and such by the beging on this summer, punch me in the face, main reason i didnt go to school was cause when i was working i was paying for like all my moms bills, thats why the geo never got the right parts and such, tahts why i sold the 7, now that she is on her feet i figured i could take a break but now im in need of a job, friday had a few interviews one at Honda and things are looking good.

reason i would drive an sti although it is a good all around car and prolly the best you can get for the money and for its all around greatness, it just isnt my style, hate to base a whole opoion around that soul factory but thats basicaly it, not sure what car i would drive, prolly something impractical im gonna really think and then make a statement.

chuck is right... about the job thing. but an sti is about the best choice. Due to insurance reasons i think i might be tempted to get an Audi A4 but i wouldnt kno till the time came... I wouldn't buy a new car anyway

yeah. see that's the problem

same thing as why i was ranting about the FC thing that didn't make it into fruition...

you need to learn to LISTEN... let other peoples experience teach you a lesson..
wouldn't it be sweet if you could save 8 years of your life??? just by listening???

just do it...3 measly classes

come on now, it would be a cake walk.

I did 2 classes with my full-time job..

the A4 and STi

are way completely different cars... though

if youwant to race and all that STi...

if you wanna be a baller-- then maybe A4..

the S4 doesn't hold a candle to the STi... unless you throw even more money at it...
by the time you make it keep up with the STi, you may as well buy a ZO6 and not **** with it..

I was lucky..
I bought my STi with 11K miles on it from a local who seriously never raced it.. I bought it for like 10K off sticker..
that's the way you do it.. w00t !!!

I disagree; an A4 may be a bit more luxury but it's not that far from the STI's performance. It is also safer adding to the weight... side airbags, higher crash test ratings ECT ECT. Neither car is exactly light, with minor weight reduction and distribution the A4 can be a worthy autocross car since that seems to be what you guys are into. I could understand trying to persuade someone to change their mind but expressing your opinions as fact helps no one. Despite all the disagreement nobody even specified what this STI replacement would be used for. I was assuming a daily driver. I'd rather look sophisticated and classy or in your terms "baller" than sport the ram air hood and rally wing hoping ricers keep off my back from day to day. There are a lot of things I do like about the STI though, I’m sure driving a zo6 in the winter would be a blast...

My Tech teacher has an 04 A4. he raced it as a track car basicly stock and went up against STIs regulary, he was not impressed with the so superior sti performance.

I'll race him

have you personally driven both??

I have, and it is NO COMPARISON!!!

I've removed my wing, because they give very little benefit... and when they do.. it is at speeds in which i rarely venture, and when i would, on track, id have better results from a front splitter..

in an autoX car, you kinda want front weight bias... even distribution.. doesn't exactly work.. at least for any AWD or front drive car...

some rear drive cars even benefit from front bias,,

OH, the STi. also has side air-bags.

i talk from opinions and fact based on actual findings and/or experience...

so be nice...

Yes, i've driven both, I wouldn't speak of matters in which I don't know anything about. I never said "even" distribution, I know stock for stock they aren't on the same level being as why I mentioned modifying the A4. your reading between the lines when theres nothing there. Also exagerating quite a bit. The diffrence didn't seem so miraculous to me..

who are you to be give me orders? so far its been "watch your mouth, sweet-heart." and "be nice" haha you don't see anyone els saying such things. oyu speak of your age continuously to remind us. i feel like i'm talkin to my grandpa right about now

the be nice and all that is so you settle down a bit ..

the "watch you mouth sweet-heart" is a line from a movie.

as for the difference... it is miraculous to me. but then again i actually race... so i would be ABLE TO TELL the difference

any car you drive will feel like you are wearing mittens... and boots... to a inexperienced driver..

ask derek, he's driven a multitude of audi's
but for some reason, drives a WRX... hmm wonder why.
