Ever think about a Corksport setup? I like mine, cept the downpipe. LOL Which is gonna get trashed for a RB in the spring.
If you wanna turbo it you should of got a TII not an n/a to begin with. Your gonna spend way too much on a conversion.

I'd cut the bracing out of the steel hood to lighten it up... even without the bracing its structural integrity will be about that of an aluminum hood with bracing. As long as the hood keeps its form I see no problem with that. It would also make it easier to fabricate a reveres air flow induction into it with no bracing in the way of the downward vent. When I cut a good chunk of the bracing out of my aluminum hood and made the vent, it made the hood more sturdy than it was with the bracing.. To my surprise.

wll see i dont wanna do that, if you cut the bracing ya it might be lighter but in no way is it more sturdy than the alumiunm with the bracing, plus dents , you take away the center bracing and you can get some pretty bad dents, im not so much into that

time is money, might as well buy an alum hood. why would you vent a hood? that would put you directly into a mod class

why would you want to do that???
i see no logic behind it whatsoever??
where would you place such a "reverse air-flow induction vent" or whatever???

<---- damn that's a cute little bugger..

hey derek,
don't we have a spare aluminum hood in the shed???

FOR THE RECORD
an aluminum N/A hood should cost $ 50-100
and no more

add $50 for a good TII Aluminum hood..
+$100 for a PERFECT Aluminum TII hood.

um, i say this because there was a certrain douche-bag in INDY selling these for like $500... totally ripping people off..

then again, and with other things.... if you are (not your) dumb enough to pay it... you deserve to be ripped off....

Steve.
no, I throw those away.. not worth re-using.. you can build new ones cheap.. or buy new for like $80

no, last set had a broken hub, and cracked discs...
oh, and why 5-lug hubs???
why not FC 4-lug??
arent all FC discs the same specs?? (other than bolt-circle)

and if not.. I know the CARRIERS/casts are..
so you could use the 4-lug hub assemblies
and then have 5-lug discs re-drilled for 4-lug.

um, what rear assembly are you planning to use??

and uh,

FC steering column..
um, no

why would you want one of these??
get one from like a corrola..???
