you guys are rediculous..
um, bust out some AIM action... fellas.
jeff
google surface tension.
then
laminar flow..
then
turbulent flow.
then...
tell me which has the highest rate of heat-transfer.
then
ventra contra.
this will get you started into fluid-dynamics..
might be all you need, if you read into it correctly..
be sure to ask if you have anyquestions....
all answer anything you ask,.

from what ive gathered so far ia smooth or (Laminar flow) when having such a flow it creats a boundary layer which has 0 velocity, with this flow there is no enegry transfer between the two so that means no heat.
turbulent flow from what i have read when reduced into small places say like a 1 inch tube to a .5inch tube it will cause the velocity to incease because of the crossing air,
so i could be wrong but what im looking for is for a hole to reduce in size while its reaching its destion point? And if i had a flow bench i could find the Reynolds number and have it more exact right? so would i want the top of the manifolds slightly larger to go into the smaller bottom half if they arent already like that? because if the velocity is increased that would mean more air is getting into the engine and more air means i can run more fuel and if i can run more fuel i can unlock more potential power? I hope i didnt go way off there and know less than i already did
