You have to keep scale in mind. There is 5/16" of steel between the bottom of the hole and the bottom of the mount, and they're 1/4" thick steel mounts. They'll be fine. The washers on the ends are big (like 2") so that's why it looks that way. For scale, the mounts themselves are 2.5" tall.

Tony,

I've literally spent hours cleaning under there.

And thanks.

How many do you have for sale?
Since I don't need it, I'll let Ryan have dibs.
I'd like a winter set.
I haven't driven my car much this winter.

Anyone have an idea if 26x10.5 or 11.5 fit on an fc without rolling the fenders?

ok so when i had tonys tires on my car there wasnt any clearance issue with the outer part of the fender cause the fd's are offset 52 which had them tucked in pretty far. im sure you could arrange a trial fit with tonys for a small bribery....
