Chuck, I've been working on a date list for next year, most events don't have firm dates until the beginning of the new year. So if everyone would send me all your events I'll produce a calendar for all of us Ft Wankel gearheads.

NB Detroit Car Show is between Jan 13 and 20, who wants to go and what date, I like midweek due to lower crowds....IMHO

The only bad thing about events is I work 2nd shift so if somthing is on friday haha I'm not gonna make it. O well I should be able to get a little time off. I'm just glad to be working again so I can blow it all on my car! The only events that I know of right now are a couple of car shows but like always they are usually for older muscle cars but they will accept anyone. kinda.....

ok well i have tried serval times, and no one seems intrested so i drop it, roughly io wanted it to work like this, start in fort wayne and drive south using whatever roads you can to get to said desintention, at the start each car has a number ex, first car 1 second 2 and so on, ill pick a chain hotel and call each one and ask them if they could keep a a paper number 1-how every many cars we have, as each car gets to the checkpoint they put their car number next to the next number they got there so if car 5 got there 12th then they put a 5 next to the 12, each car will have a starting time and then they put the time it took them to get to the checkpoint, its all a rough idea but im ready to do it, just need to call all the hotels prolly take a week or so to get them all complying, but i want to see how many people are really down before i waste my time

Geo-ff

Poker run FTW.

the hotel thing is neat.. but i would suggest you get a couple rallys under your belt first..

besides..
the FWSCCA hasn't done a rally in years... so maybe you can have a FWRSCCA rally..

conversely...
what if we started our own FW NASA chapter... (maybe i we can team-up with the WW folks... to get legal sanctioning.. w00t)

ALSO!!!
I plan on renting Muncie drag-way some WEEKDAY in the spring time for a PRIVATE test and tune!!!

so if anyone is interested.. let me know.

i like the FWNASA idea, would be nice to have more events in the FWR other than just like 8 scca ones spread out over 4-5months, seat time seat time seat time,

i dunno rally is just rough still need to think aboot it somemore, i dont wanna go through the scca, i think that might make it kinda crappy, i want all out who cares you get pulled over you are fucked kinda mentality, cause it doesnt matter shes not coming, shes not even real.

Would be nice for some of us Fort Wankel ***** to kinda hold our own legal event, i mean chuck you ahve experince in running that **** it wouldnt be that hard i think

Renting out the dragway is a great idea. I guess I didn't think about the subie guys would not be able to do a dyno day because of the AWD unless theres and AWD dyno somewhere near by.

I already had things lined up before for a dyno day at the local dyno.. at the V8 parts store..

but someone stole the idear.. and claimed it as their own.. so I was like fine.. you do it.. then..

but yeah.. so Ryan, you in for the Muncie thing..

like a Rotary/Suby/evo

TEST AND TUNE!!!
It must be friendly.. no smack talking (yeah, i;m done with all that.. so no hypocracy here)
no my evo 8 your STi.. BS... no.. oh yeah.. well my rotary spins to 11K rpm.. and your scoob only to 7 so there :P

I'll get the rental rate and divide by the number of people who want in....

so it is a supply/demand thing.. the more people there less track time.. (not a bad thing for heat soak.) even at 40 people.. it is still more than plenty of time..

I'll offer any tuning advise/remapping while there...(for all three makes)

while we're at it.. maybe lets plan a actual event... for next summer.

the weekend of 7-8/9

to celebrate 07-07-07
maybe a drag day at muncie with an autoX the following day in fort wayne...

if you think it is a good idear.. let me know.. and i'll see what i can do with the FWR SCCA... schedule.
