haha well i just recently met chuck so that explains y u havnt seen me. had fun 2nite i just cant wait till next summer after my suspension is done up. i will most likely start auto xing next summer 2.

lol yeah 2nite im a lil suprised we didnt...although on the way home on 24 i hit a red light right b4 the BP and i seen a car in my rear view mirror so i got on it when it turned green just 2 keep up with the traffic and i wasnt really goin into high rev...probly around 5K and either 3rd or 4th i dont remember the synchro decided 2 be a bitch and not lemme go into gear right away. and at that very moment i noticed that car was a cop and i was doing almost 60 and its a 55 which isnt bad but i was gonna keep goin and then he put his lights on......luckily he turned them off as fast as he turned them on so i was good haha.

How about getting a few Indiana/Ohio related events going. I would like to get a dyno day going next spring. Maybe a half day or day event at dynotech engineering. Still would like to get a rally around Fort Wayne sometime. Get a few RX-7 groups to go down to Muncie Drags and of course hit the auto-x's together.

I didn't see this post originally, sorry it took so long.
And I have had a spare 12A just laying around for a long *** time the way it is, already torn down, just waiting to get cleaned up and put back together. I've had a rebuild kit laying around just as long as the 12A has been pulled out of my '83 (which has been months). I should have already had it ported and put back together, but I was far too lazy, and my '84 (the white one) didn't have any real problems running, so I figured why bother?

it is ALOT more work than you think..
maybe put together a poker run.. if nothing else.. that seems to be the easiest. way.. so don't say people are pussies... if you are just too (whatever) to put one together...

yeah, frankly I don't see myself climbing in another Mazda for a while. So Ive been milling about some things.
so bear with my logic trail here.
we used to have this sorta group we dubbed "Fort Wankel" it basically included all the local Rotary guys who participated in all that stuff..
autoX, drag stuff, cruises etc etc..
so now.. we've expanded.. I have the Subaru thing going..
a quick list of people we drive with...
all the subaru guys..
Me, Derek, Kyle, Steve et al (based on whatever)
then the uh, what i'll classify as "other make"
Geo-ff (Geo)
Nick (240)
et al..
so now here is the quandry.
any of us fort wankel guys.. no matter what we're driving will show up to a rotary meet or whatever.. just like any of you are welcome to join our thing....
so here's what I propose..
I'll be pretty busy with event through the 2007 season.
I have a calender on a wall in my house... and I'll be adding events to it.. as they open..
maybe we should have an on-line calender.. where everyone can post events or whatever they know about..
any idears on how to post something like that? have a host site?
I'm sure I can do something with myspace.. who is not a member who is???
maybe create a bonifide club on there to post events...
if you guys agree.. I'll start one tonight.. (since I'll likely have the most events planned) then you folks can message me with events you find...

That sounds great, I think getting more groups in would work out to larger meets which probably work out better considering how big I guess the Sunday night things have not been to big. I definetly like the sounds of rallies though. Not sure how the police around here would handle that sort of thing around 469.
