Fall IA meet?

Would this meet be in northern IA, central or what. I would love to attend depending on the distance. I am in Mankato, not to far from the border, quite often and I used to live in Mason City, IA. Keep me posted.

If I don't have any previous commitments (like last time) and my FD is still running (I'm resisting the urge to start rebuilding the front suspension), I would do anyplace within 50 miles of Iowa City.

Not exactly bad. More of being lazy and forgetful. Forgot about a ticket and lost license for not paying it. I will get it back once ticket is paid and I pay some other 200 dollar restitution thing. I havent had it for about a month and it really sucks the big one. I can have rides to/from work and around town but when I need to go to IC to get certain things, its kinda hard to get a ride. Moreso now that gas prices jumped up. I pretty much am breaking myself paying off fines and bills which is why it has been so hard to find an oven for my powdercoating.

I was wondering what else needed to be changed. I was told in the 2nd gen section that only the manifold was needed. Well crappy.....looks like I'll just save some extra money and buy a new one. Maybe one of the SS Autochrome ones on ebay........... *waits for replies* ............ I don't think I'll buy one of those things, heard bad reviews on them.

Really impressed with casey's SS manifold. No leaks/crack/warped ****.
For the money u cannot beat it in my humble opinion. I wanted a quiter exhaust so i went cast iron on the FD (hks) but would have gone SS autochrome.
It still looks new and casey can break anything he touches if it's not made 200% stronger than normal operating limits.

I installed a name brand greddy to4 and it lasted what..... a whole 1,000 miles?
Might have been a bad rebuild or only had a 180 thrust bearing... all i know is that it wasn't healthy to begin with b/c it wouldn't rotate at idle.....(-3an feed and -16 return)
Not to sound like a complete *** but please just don't pass on info.
There is so much more to it than just who makes the turbo.
$1000 turbos fail all the time with less than 2k miles. If you can get a good CHRA your golden weither its a 200 dollar used turbo or 2k new one.

It is really easy. Most of the time I have little to contribute or do not feel it is worth the effort (as most things have allready been explained if you look long enough). Additionally I rather dislike idle chit chat and only visit the forum when I need to look something up.

Well there you go...you just doubled your posts! I can understand the dislike for idle chit chat...I hate it. But c'mon...share your knowledge from time to time! It is certainly worth the effort. There is much to learn here, and I have learned that I can even help people from time to time!

Guess I will go for broke and use all my posts for the next 3 years.
I am up for a meet but I will probably be sans rx7. Depending on when and where it is I may or may not be able to get that day off of work, or be able to drive back in time for my next shift.
