Lol.... I was actually thinking to get a Supra or the FD but I got into reading bout these engines and handling on the RX7 and that won me over, As for the NSX there very niece cars but too slow for me, but wouldnt mind to have lol

just a curious question..what would win in stock form....300ZX or NSX in the 1/4 with normal drivers

i want to say NSX although i dont have much experience with 300Zs at all

Well the 300ZX has a 3.0 v6 twinturbo 5speed putting out 300Hp the NSX has a 3.2V6 with a 6speed putting out 290HP but to me the 300 goes faster as well the 300 has Good TQ.

The NSX also weighs about 400lbs less than the 300ZX, and doesn't have turbo lag. I think they'd be really close in a stock 1/4 mile race.

In the twisties, it's no contest, the NSX would walk away.

They are really slow for how they look, and seem slower because they are factory N/A. Bolt on mods will always yeild larger increases on the turbo car, unless the turbo car is already tweaked to its manimum potential when it's sold(which 99.999% aren't even close)

I didn't include the NSX because his collection is comprised of Japanese TT sports cars (Skyline excluded for obvious reasons). Which is why I said he just needs a TT Supra to complete it.

I live like 2 hours south of chicago but i want to set up or be a part of a big cruise out there. i got an fc but its got a 13b boosted close enought. ha.

big fan of the fd's just not enought money so if i cant buy themi will just have to beat them. ha and i will back that up if your in the chicago area.
