Any shops in Nebraska, Iowa area

having a hell of a time getting my t2 to start, sucker just cranks and cranks. bought it, and had been sitting for a while.

Ive changed: fuel pump, fuel filter, oil filter, spark plugs, cklean out injectors, radiator hose, removed the emmisions.

Then i did the deflooding procedure. oil in the plugs, got it running, took it around the block and so on. Well now got nothing out of my car.

Are your plugs wet with fuel? Sounds like its getting really flooded. What all did you remove in terms of emmisions?

Just saw this.......any progress? Maybe just weak spark. Coils? Ignitor? Just throwing things out. Some owners that are pretty experienced with FCs on the local board. Might try the MAZDA usergroup at NESS.

To answer your original question, there aren't any real rotary specialty shops in the area that I'm aware of.

I have a shop in Mason City, IA I just started, but that is a drive from you as well. You may have a stuck injector. FC's are know for haveing leaky injectors.

If its supporting hardware you will have the same problem with a new engine and if it floods you may loose compression.

I don't think I'd go to the trouble of rebuilding a motor over what symptoms you're having. If you do tear it down I hope you're gonna replace all your seals and rings

Compression seemed fine? I have two words for you. COMPRESSION TESTER then you know, not guessing if its fine or not. Seems like kind of a waste of time pulling the engine to just replace gaskets and vaccum lines. You could of done all of that with the engine still in the car.
