Uh oh, engine fire oh.

Anyone still active on this thread? I've got my car in the garage, something melted the lines from the oil metering pump to the injectors and almost started the whole car on fire. Still not sure why the hell they melted like they did. Either way its a mess, the wiring clips for the fuel injectors melted right onto the injectors. So I'm currently in the process of rewiring new clips in place of all the melted ones, along with blocking off the air control valve, removed the air pump, blocking off the oil metering pump and injectors, removing the whole rats nest of vacuum lines and solenoids (pretty sure the guy i bought it from had no idea what he was doing when it came to vacuum routing, he had the stock blow off valve t'd into the pressure sensor and ran that into the air control valve) and to make it all better a hedahls parts truck ran into the driver side while it was parked on the street at my mechanics (who did less work on it during the month he had it than i have in the 6 hours i've spent working on it since i've gotten in back) thankfully it was hit near a spot that needed body work anyways so i'm getting a little work done for free. Just can't wait to drive it again. Full 3 inch stainless exhaust all the way, hks vbc boost controller and new venom fuel injectors along with all the unnecessary emissions stuff taken off (leaving the bac valve and the accelerated warm up since they are part of the idle control) next up is a shiny new hks intake and bov and bnr stage 2 turbo to be added over the winter.
