Steve Kan Tuning Information

Steve Kan will be in St.Louis from March 21th to March 24th. He'll be tuning on the 22-23 which falls on a saturday and sunday. His rate is $350 for a basic tune which requires a deposit of $200. Listed below is the pricing structure for custom tunes.

$350 - Stock turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - Aftermarket turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - aftermarket turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

Deposits can be sent to my address. I'll hand the deposits over to Steve when he arrives.

Here is what they will offer us:

1. Two mechanics.
2. We will have access to all of his facilities for the weekend.
3. Intercomp scales will be available for corner weights.
4. A Lift and tools will be available incase a problem were to arise.
5. Fabrication/Machine shop/Welding is available in case it’s needed.
6. Brand new Dynopack 3000 w/wideband and boost transducer.

Everyone needs to make a checklist before Steve Kan arrives. This is what he said in an earlier post.

"Here're some items to inspect/replace before the dyno. New plugs (less than 1k miiles), new fuel filter (less than 5k miles), inspect spark plug wires, oil change, full tank of whatever gas you normally run, inspect tires (no nails or anything that can fly out during the dyno), inspect coolant fluid (change if necessary), clean air filter, put all the mods in that you plan to run before coming to the dyno (I don't think there'll be enough time to install them on the same day)."

He'll do whatever you want.

He tuned mine to 30 psi last time and my current RX7 is 10 X more extreme.

I'm running 13,440 CC's worth of injector and plan on using it all

March 22-23 is Easter Weekend so this is not going to work with me and most people. So, the date has been changed to March 29-30.

 

He will tune a Apexi Neo too wont he?

Yes, he will. Just make sure you bring all documentation, software and hardware with you.

Just bring the manual, just in case he needs a reference.

Deposits are needed asap, I'll be holding them until Steve gets here so they won't be cashed until after the tuning date.
