Some questions about Microtec lt8 and Half bridge
so after three years of sitting due to blown motor after 3k miles on the rebuild, i managed to get a used half BP motor buil by our guitarjunkie (R.I.P T.T). i have 1600cc sec and 720cc primaries. running aftermarket tubular header, external wastegate rerouted to the exhaust, and 1.12 hotside with 60 cold. the micotech only had a base tune for a streetport stock turbo hybrid.
need to know what a good base map for that setup, or will the base tune (by dave) that it has will be ok for now till i get it tuned??? i have a friend that has a controller at hand so he would be able to help me out as well...
also for the cas, how do i set it???
any help is appreciated. thanks!!!

Was a map running the car before with the same injector setup?
If so then it will work fine.
If not i have a map that can get you started.
Cas is very easy.
As for setting your CAS.
Turn your main pulley on your engine till you see two marks.
You want to line the mark on the passenger side of your car up with the pin on the front cover.

You then insert the cas as below

You need a timing light to do the rest.
If its just to run it in and a tuner will be doing the rest.
Then turn the cas it self(the body) counter clock wise and stop it around 5-6mm before it cannot go anymore cause of the stud.(or if you dont have a stud, not being able to get the bolt in).(this will get in with 5-6 degrees of being spot on and safe enough to cruise to get to tuner but not to boost).
Hope tha thelps.

tried starting the car last night.... well at least it turns over. jajaja
fuel seems to be priming oil is pumping. saw a oil leak coming from the 17mm banjo bolt that feeds the turbo on the front cover. minor problem but easy fix.
ill check for the green light and make sure its on....
