S5 TII install questions (LT8)
I just started wiring up my microtech, but came across a few problems.
1) How exactly do I wire in the TPS since there are two? Would switching to an S4 TPS make it simpler. As far as I know, the Microtech only uses the TPS to differentiate between idle and off-idle situations correct?
2) When wiring in the CAS, the Microtech harness has 4 wires: blue, green, yellow, red. According to the wiring diagram, the blue and yellow wires are to be wired to the CAS plug in the pins that meet the white and white/black wires coming from the CAS. The wiring diagram shows the blue and yellow wires from the microtech harness are grounded...Does this mean they are already grounded?
3) The thick red wire (main power) is to be connected to the battery with the supplied 15a fuse. Do I just cut the wire off the supplied 15a fuse in the middle and then splice it into the thick red wire?

1. You just get the wires for the low range sensor. Or you can use the full range for throttle reference when logging. In any case, wiring for both have been discussed, I'll see if I can get it in a search. (to be edited later)
2. It's early and I'm still getting my coffee in me, but I'd have to look at the diagram again to understand ya more. I recall something like that, but I'd have to read up more on the CAS before I spout off.
3. Sounds about right. See neato ascii diagram:
LT8------(12V BATT)----->fuse------->battery!
