Microtech Microtech + tablet?
#2
An lt8 is in the near future for my FC and I was thinking that a small tablet mounted in the dash and running the microtech software would look and function better than actual gauges. I figured someone would have tried this already and maybe had a few pointers?

I think I'm going to go this way
Mimo Monitors - Welcome
Mounting the usb touchscreen in the dash and mirroring a netbook mounted somewhere else.
So far that seems to be the only way that I can figure it... I'll post pics when its mounted

Been using the Microtech software on a Windows tablet for years. It's clunky at best not using the keyboard because that basically turns the software into the handset. Honestly the Microtech software is pretty crappy anyway.
I would HIGHLY recommend buying ANY other ECU but the Microtech. An entry level Haltech is in the same price range and is a far more modern ECU. The LT8s firmware was 5 years out of date when it was released in about 2004.
