Microtech help

Ok I dont have an rx7 I have a toyota mr2. I have been resarching the microtech ecus for a while now and im going to be purchasing one. The guys on the mr2 forum dont really have much to say about the microtech so that is why I have been browsing your forums to find information. This seems like the perfect ecu for my mr2 turbo. The price range is just right for me as well. I do have a few questions for you guys. How are they to tune overall? Can the ecu run water injection with it. Can I run my existing boost controller? I notice that they have some pnp harnesses. I haven't been able to find a list of pnp applications. I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if they have an pnp harness for my car? What are the advantages of the microtech over the haltech, autronic, etc besides price? If any of you can help me out it would be much appreciated. Also who can I purchase this ecu from?

Thanks Adam Akers

The Microtech LT is a very simple EMS to operate. Some skill will be required in tuning it, however, as with any standalone EMS.

Can the ecu run water injection with it.
Yep - it can be configured to have a tuneable 2D curve over load.

Can I run my existing boost controller?
Yes. In fact, this is the preferred way.

There's no official list yet, but there isn't currently a plug in for the 3S-GTE. There may well be in the future, but we'd have to see some demand for it.

Spec sheets for the Microtech LT8 are available at http://www.br7racing.com, and there are dealers in most parts of the USA. Contact us to find one local to you.
