Microtech lt10 green wire
#2
do not connect it to the fuel pump directly.

you need to to use a aftermarket 4 pin 30 amp relay, i wouldn't recommend using the stock relay. when you buy the lt10 new from microtech or a dealer it will come with a relay for fuel pump.
you could find it a local auto parts.
you will have to run , at least 10 gauge wire to pin 87 on the relay straight from the battery positive side
you will also need to run a wire from ignition source to pin 86 on relay
Green wire from LT10 to pin 85 on relay
from pin 30 on the relay you will feed power to positive side of fuel pump.

while all the above is correct and will work,, just pointing out that relays come as 4 and 5 pin , and as changeover types
you need a 4 or 5 pin non changeover relay
pin 30 is typically reseved as the volt supply IN from battery and pins 87 as the supply OUT to the device
( they all work fine when wired vichy versa as in posts above )
i make the distinction here because it is good habit to get these around the right way in other situations when dealing with a changeover or a 5 pin relay
on a five pin relay there is TWO switched ouput 87 pins ,, as you can see when wired vichy vesa,, two switched pin 87s as supply inputs is rather contrary and useless
on a changeover relay there is pins 87 and 87A,, which alternate when the relay is switched
ie power to one device while unswitched,,, and to another when switched
as you can see,, demonstrating 87 is usually intended to be the output,, while the single pin 30 should only be input
similarly,, diode protected relays ( have flyback arrestor inbuilt ) will have the diode on the unswitched side when disconnecting
,, and may not do the job of arresting black EMF on disconnect
here is something i wrote about the matter somewhere else just days ago

jaycar sell the plug that fits the bottom on common 4 and 5 relays- much neater
good relays have a diode inside to arrest flyback black emf when disconnecting
( use one of these for big devices like fuel pump,, and especially if it switching an aux pump )
note-
5 pin relays marked underneath with pins 87 and 87A are changeover relays and not suitable
5 pin relay with two pins marked 87 is AOK
