Extra fuel causing surging?
Seems to me like i'm getting some surges, under light acceleration at a certain point in my map.
Im trying to figure out how to post my map so you guys can take a look at it and point me in the right direction.
How do I post it?

I'll have to take a drive to see if its at 3500, but I want to say thats not the case. It seems like its happening when cruising, and I apply light throttle.
It seems like its when I get to a certain mmHg (before I get into boost), when looking at the injector timing I can see it going up, and my AFR drops to the 9:1 to 10:1 range.
Im just not sure what map its in, which is why I wanted to post the whole thing, so someone could see if there was any other issues I might not be catching.

well the injectors will stage anywhere beyond that point as it needs to see a certain amount of vacuum before the secondaries will kick on.
it also depends where the stage point is set, it will stage at lower RPMs if you changed the default setting for the stage points.
i believe you can copy the text from the log, put it into a notepad document and save it then post that or just copy them to a post here.
below your injector staging the injector duty cycle will show a "sT" after the figure which means just the primaries are firing, when all 4 injectors are firing there will be a "mS" displayed after the figured. if it is surging just before you see the "mS" displayed then it is injector staging. if not then you may have a lean spot in your maps that needs to be richened up just a little.
the microtech is pretty bad about injector staging and it will kick on and off rapidly if you sit and hunt right around where your staging points are set. if mileage isn't a huge concern you can lower the RPM and vacuum staging points so that it will be less noticable when cruising, playing with the injector staging % will help as well but it will affect all of your maps below the staging point.
main key point to remember though is that surging is almost always caused by a lean spot, not too much fuel. injector staging almost always results in a quick lean spike.

I had the car tuned by Steve Kan awhile ago, and didnt get a full tune out of it.
The only reason I figured it was getting too much fuel was because the AFRs were dropping so much.
I want to say the injectors were showing sT and not mS.
The staging switches right when it goes into boost, and this issue seems to happen before that. It seems smooth from -25Hg to -10Hg, then bogs down/surges in the -10Hg to -6Hg range, and clears up back up from -6Hg to 0psi.
So it seems to happen a decent amount of time before all 4 injectors kick on.
Thanks for all the help so far.

well you would be correct, that range is mapped wayyyyyyyy too rich. steve uses a way to adjust numerous cells at the same time. i have seen sometimes windows screws with the settings until you readjust them and they jump all over the place. i adjust the cells individually, it's not nearly as menial as it seems.
just go in and adjust them linearly to match the rest of the maps.

So there should be no peaks at all?
I just wasnt sure if there was a point in the map where the primaries ramped up right before the secondaries kick in.
If not, I can just adjust the peaks to be in line with the graph?

Also, does it seem like there is way too much fuel in my idle map?
Looking at the 3D chart it looks like it goes up substantially more than the rest of the graphs.

idle is as easy as lowering the figures in that range until the engine starts to hunt and want to stall out then add 2-3 clicks up in fuel.
the rest of the map areas in the 10-5"Hg ranges should be smoothed out to look almost like a straight line in the map.
haltech adds fuel before injector staging, microtech does not. ie haltech maps will look like this but these microtech maps shouldn't.

How does this look? Much better?
I also flattened out the idle line, similar to the LT Manual. It also seems as if my AFRs are shooting up when revving the car in neutral, is that normal?
How low can I go with the fuel at idle? It seems like im down .57 on the injectors, but the idle isnt hunting. Maybe i'm adjusting the wrong thing?

too difficult to tell with the 3D map image, but i can see that the 2500-3500 range still is a little spikey in that 10-5" range.
out of boost maps you can mess with a bit without worrying about damaging the engine, the car will stumble if you take too much fuel out at which point you just have to add a little back in. add in a bit more for improved throttle response at the cost of mileage.
