Arrow Datalogging with AEM's UEGO Guage-Type Controller

I ended up purchasing this Guage for simplicity sake as this came compact In a Guage that I can easily accomadate to my other six Guages/cabin. It has a feature that Is "user programable" that allows you to adjust the O2 Sensor calibration via the Rotary Switch at the back of the Guage. Under default It's 0-5V analog output.

In the Instructions, It's as follows:

Configurating Calibration Outputs,

If a different sensor calibration Is desired, the AEM calibration can be changed to one of the three available. The AEM default position Is (P0) If an AFR Gauge was purchased and (PI) If a Lambda Guage was purchased. These settings Implement a linear calibration with the most useful voltage range possible (0-5v). The AFR calibration (P3) emulates the Autotronic Wideband O2 sensor calibration (0-1V). The AFR calibration (P4) emulates a non-linear Nernst Cell calibration (0-1V).

I have no plans to run this soon but I wanted to ask with all the calibration features available (P0 - P4) In the UEGO, will the units readings hold up to be accurate with no compromises when logging under the 1v input for datalogging using my LT8?

It sounds like the P4 is non-linear, so I'd definitely avoid that. I don't know what the 'Autotronic' is, but if it's linear, I'd think that's what you want. Assuming you can get a linear 0-1v, you should get the accuracy you desire. imo.

Keep us posted.

Trav, my apoligies...I forgot to add the P2 Calibration Output. This may help some...

The AFR calibration (P2) Is linear and simular to (P1) with a smaller voltage range (1-2V).

It doesn't sound like P2 is what you want either... 1-2v, I don't think the MT will like that.
Sounds like P3 is the best bet -- I think we might know more if you could get more technical info on this statement: "The AFR calibration (P3) emulates the Autotronic Wideband O2 sensor calibration (0-1V)."

Yeah, I've come to that conclusion. I plan on calling there Tech Dept. to add to this and see from there.

Just a little comment:

Those dip switches (rotary...whatever ) at the back probably just switch various resistors into a voltage divider network....Exactly like the circuit I was talking to you about at the dyno, just built into the gauge.

No I didn't, sorry. I hope someone will be able to answer this though. I ended up returning the unit to retrieve money for new Fenders/Quarters and Rocker Panels. I think with my next unit I'll go with a FJO.
