2 Microtech LTX 8 questions

Ok, as my turbo first gen project is nearing completion I have a couple questions. The first one is, can the ltx8 turn my Electric fan on and off?

The second question. I had bought 1000cc secondaries to use with my 550 cc primaries. Is this too far of a jump from the 550 to the 1000's? I thought it could be tuned for a smooth transition between the primaries and secondaries but a friend of mine said he thinks that the jump is too big.

One more question (I know I said 2 but just thought of it). I am running a Bosch fuel pump. Will I be allright with the stock series 4 turbo Fuel Pressure Regulator or do I need to go aftermarket? Pro's and Cons of each? If I need to go aftermarket, any suggestions on which one?

My car is an 85 S model Rx-7, new stock series 4 turbo engine, I am using a series 5 BNR stage 2 turbo, 3 inch Racing Beat Downpipe to the 3" RB second gen presilenser and probably to a 3in magnaflow. I have an ACT lightweight street flywheel and ACT clutch. Cheap ebay FMIC. I have a Guru diff to through in the rear once I change the brakes and suspension over to the gsl-se but I need to get it running before I worry about that.

thanks

Hello,

yes, Microtech can switch your el. fan on and off. Just use relay and the output of your Microtech.

It works OK with 550 / 1000 combination, but you will be more lucky going with 720/1000 or 800/ 1000.

your FPR will be OK for the power you will get from BNR Stage2. No issue with the pump at all.
