    S4 and S5 transmissions are as near as make no difference identical. Crossmembers are the same too.

    I am curious since you said that you have extensively worked on s4 and s5 series. Will an s4 manual trans fit in an s5? Is there a difference between the two trans at all outside of the rear trans mount?

    So I massaged the spare tire well a little bit with a sledgehammer, then promptly got the spare tire stuck again while test fitting it .
