question about the double sheave main drive pulley. Per the RB website they don't recommend use for turbo applications, because power is made in lower RPM. You also have a whole punched or light weight flywheel which reduces rotating mass as well.
I was staying away from reducing the rotating mass assuming it would effect my midrange power band, does the power band just move to higher RPM?
Do you notice a higher revving engine or less torque because of those items?
I drift also using stock t2 pulley/flywheel, I'm wondering if there would be an advantage to installing the RB pulley on the turbo motor.
that engine is a series 5 engine, it wont be plug and play in your 88. you need to find a series 4 engine, harness, ecu, mass air flow, and pressure sensor. if you use a turbo trans mission youll need a driveshaft from mazdatrix, na to turbo. dealing with these engine importers can suck, so becareful and get as much info as you can before you make your purchase.
