thanks.. I almost bought an fd that needed a motor.. pic posted in my thread but decided to stick with the fb and kids..

I have so many questions and it seems that the info is out there if you are willing to read thru a gazillion half finished threads...

so I am stipping things off my motor in prep for swapping the cover to a 12a cover and gslse pan.. I have a s5 cas.. any idea what pulleys I can use on teh 13brew (at least it came form an fd)

can I still use the fd pulley kit that was on it or will it not line up once the cover is changed??

any insight you may have would be great... not sure if you have messed much with the fd engines etc... hoping to get into it asap.. told the wife I want this swap done by summer.. hopeful and dreaming haha

looking to get back into the rotary scene.. I just dragged my 85 out of the shed (damn mice) and am going to hopefully swap a 13b turbo in and restore it with my kids... will be looking forward to meeting some local area peeps who have knowledge..

sorry to get back to you so freaken late, almost a year later, i'm sorry i never check to see if i get messages, but yeah its a t2, original motor 160,000 t2 chasis and mainly stock with all my emmissions blocked off, still in the process of making her real nice, my 3rd year of owning her, had a n/a for 5years that i bout 8 years ago so i intend to make her look sexy as hell as for hp i think 250 or more to the wheels, mainly stock just taking her to the extreme.
