what the cheapest place to buy the DIY V3 kit?
ebay doesnt currently seem to have any kits on there, and the cheapest i found for the DIY kit was 250.00 for the MSII which seems like alot. (unless im mistaking).
is 250.00 good for the MSII v3? or will the MSI v3 for 190 (that i found while typing this) be just as good? or am i going to be told to search?

I have been talking with King EFI checking out his prices for MS modified for RX-7's. Though his are completely built and options cost extra. Here are some of his breakdowns. As you can see for 360 you can get a fully built MS V3 with electric fan output and harness ready to string. If your willing to go with the 2.2 even less again these are completely built and modified.
"Yes, done quite a few for 2g rx7s. I would recommend a v3.0 board though.
MS1 v2.2, $210
Dual vr input, $30
RX7 ignition module mod, $10
Tach output, free
Relay control output(or single LED), $5
PWM idle valve mod, $10
Boost control, $15
Knock detection, $15
10' Wiring harness, $60(would include 2 shielded 2 conductor cables for the
VR sensors and 3 ignition channel output wires to your ignition module.
Yes, I was justing listing off some options. A relay control circuit would
allow you to turn something(like a cooling fan) on at a certain temperature
and off at another temp or on/off based on many other variables like rpm,
manifold air temp, MAP, CLT, TPS an so on(turn on an intercooler water
sprayer when intake air temp goes above a certain temp, raise up a 911 turbo
style intercooler vent/spoiler when rpm and map are above a certain level,
activate your brake lights when in decal and so on). The output does not
have the power to drive anything larger than a LED directly, so a relay must
be used.
Ms1 v2, $210
Dual vr inputs, $30
Rx7 ignition setup, $10
Total = $240
Ms1 v3, $300. This one can handle low impedance injectors, and has circuit
protection, it's nearly bulletproof. If you short out or hook something up
incorrectly to a v2.2, you'll likely be sending it in for repair.
2nd vr input, free
rx7 ignition setup, $10
Total= $310"

He's on Ebay under kingefi and has his website at www.kingefi.com . Here's one of his auctions

I think I'm going to setup one of his up on my brother in laws turbo 2 and give a review on it. I like how willing he was to customize the unit for whatever outputs I want/need, plus the price is definetly right with harness.

Seems a little low in price for what he is giving you. I`m not saying anything outright bad about the guy but you get what you pay for. Sometimes low price = low quality.
Remember, buyer beware!!

yeah, it doesn't seem like he could make any money charging those prices, and I've honestly never heard of him. His name doesn't seem to be anywhere on that site either (unless his name is "King") ?
I know most of the higher-up people in the MS community, so a name would probably go a long way.
