rpm spikes
i'm having trouble getting rid of the spikes. i've tried 10k, 22k, and 33k. 33 seems to be too much resistince and 22 is not enough.
i have a ms 1 v2.2 fuel only no vr
also does anyone have a s5 T2 base fuel map i can start with?
thanks again

You really don't want someone else's map/msq, IMHO. Developing your own from scratch is a massive PITA but will give you invaluable insight and knowledge as to how everything interacts. It's not easy - no doubt. Read http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/mtune.htm a couple of times and work it through. One thing to be aware of, at least in my experience: it is entirely possible to foul rotary plugs to where they will never, ever fire correctly no matter how much you clean them. There's a cheap Autolite plug you can use to get started; move to the expensive NGK's after you get a decent idle. I forget the exact Autolite number; if you're interested in that option I'll go dig them out and relay that info. Oh, for idle/startup, start lean and richen until you get a start. Your Crank Pulse and Warm Up Enrichment are where you want to work this concept...

The MAP that is supplied by Megatune when you enter your engine constants should get the car started.
As each map is unique to each vehicle, it is just as much work to start with someone else's map as it is to make your own.
If you are just looking for guidance, just search this forum for "map" or "MSQ" and you will find some examples.
