Please help me

I just got done building and installing a MS1 v3 on a 1987 FC3S Turbo II. I used Aaron Cake's write up with 1/4 watt 4.7K resistors and build the unit up using the Mega Manual. Then i used a Zeal Engineering Daughterboard. I have double checked my wires for connecting the Daughterboard to the main board. Now the problem: Turn the key engine turns over, all sensors respond, fuel injectors inject fuel, but no spark. The LED's do not light up at all. Please help me, I am in the Navy and I am running out of trouble shooting time. I am trying to narrow down the problem and fix it so i can drive my beloved RX7. Please help me!!!!

My MSQ also would the 1/4 watt 4.7K pull up resistors have something to do with it? Are you supposed to use 1/2watt resistors?

I guess my memory doesn't go back that far. Seems to me like the MS1 config had a way to specify whether the LEDs were going-low or going-high, but I don't see where that is in your msq. In any case, what SHOULD happen is the the LEDs turn on immediately when the MS powers up, and that they turn off to fire your ignitors.

The 1/4 watt resistors should be fine. The most current they can flow is about 1 ma, which is far less then 1/4 watt.

Well thanks for all the help guys but i retraced my steps in assembly of the megasquirt and the guy that put it together fudged up and put the led's in backwards along with a couple of other mistakes. So as always if you need something done right do it yourself. MODERATORS YOU CAN DELETE THIS THREAD IF YOU WANT TO. I GOT THE CAR RUNNING LAST NIGHT.

Exclamation Need help 87 FC3S cuts out with throttle !!

Hey guys, so I have an 87 FC3S single turbo currently in Japan with plans to import and as far as mods it's running a from mount intercoller with a twin plate clutch" super noisy"! And straight pipe exhaust and I just put a brand new set or spark plugs on her a new fuel filter and cleaned the maf sensor. Full cage , gauges and seats, RHD, strut bars front and back and under the car in the back as well. Sooooo..... The problem I'm having is after ot starts it runs fine for a while and slow as me to build boost with no problems! After I drive for a bit and the pressure seems to bleed off or something but I can only apply small gas inputs and continue driving , still drives but anything over a quarter throttle the car literally just cuts out , power is there but it's like the engine just stops and I'm coasting and then I let off throttle and it's back with small iinputs! Any ideas? Open for anything I've done minor searches for boost leaks and leaks in general but nothing! And it runs fun after starts for a bit if I rev it up in rpm's( which I'm thinking is because I build pressure early and that's what allows it to run wth full throttle for a bit but not sure ) and it works fine? Any ideas ????

You're posting in the Megasquirt section, in a 6 year old thread
